I like the staff services provided during our stay at Hotel. Excellent Breakfast.
Escape to The Carrickdale for comfort and indulgence on the Cooley Peninsula. It has a health club, a fitness center and the therapeutic Serenity Spa.

The hotel, bar and restaurant were really busy with several family parties.
The staff was still very friendly and there was no additional waiting time to get some food.
Well organised.
The Hotel Imperial is in Dundalk town center, close to all the major attractions and shops, bars and restaurants. It has free parking, modern bars and coffee shop.

Dundalk in County Louth, the wee county, provided an incredible outpouring of creativity to celebrate Brigid1500. The Northern Lights Light Show in Market Square, the murals and storefronts painted with signs of Spring and Brigid, the cultural production at An Tain Theatre and the County Museum.
We were there for 4 days and we made the Proper Cafe "our cafe". The staff were very welcoming and remembered us and the food was great!
We also took a bus to Carlingford and enjoyed a short hike and great views of Carlingford Lough. Also, the home of Thomas Darcy McGee, and Father of Canadian Confederation.

At St.
At St. Patrics Day there were no free hotel in good price in Dublin. This choice for accomodation was the best choice, only 1 hour from Dublin by train, and found a very nice pansion with polite people.

The Imperial Hotel is a lovely comfortable hotel with very friendly helpful staff. The location of the hotel is very central and the town centre and shopping are just a short stroll from the door. My husband enjoyed a very pleasant evening at the races in Ireland's only all weather racecourse, just a short Taxi ride away, while I browsed and shopped in the nearby Shopping Centre. We dined in the hotel, where the food was excellent. We had a lovely restful two day break, and we plan to return there in the future.

People were very friendly, a lot of greetings while out walking the street on a wet morning, likewise staff in shops all very welcoming, the town could do more to promote it's history and some beautiful surroundings within close proximity, unfortunately there are a lot of derelict or dilapidated buildings around the town. The town also could do with a better range of dining experiences The Spotted Dog was excellent but a few more restaurants at that end of the market would be very welcome.

Dundalk has lots of potential.
Dundalk has lots of potential. Nicely laid out town and looking very well Unfortunately the people of Dundalk don't know the meaning of good customer service, very cold and unwelcoming. We didn't meet a single friendly face in the bars or resteraunts, customer service was NIL!

We stayed at the Carrickdale Hotel.
We stayed at the Carrickdale Hotel. We drove to Newry and did some shopping. Then we went to stunning Carlingford for lunch and more shopping! Back to Blackrock in Dundalk for fish and chips from Roma on the promenade and ice cream at storm in a teacup. Dundalk has beautiful scenic drives and greenway walks and we loved exploring around it.
Beautiful spacious, well equipped and comfortable apartments. We rented a 2 bed and a 3 bed for a family gathering.
They were so close to the hotel for golf and on the right road out to Carlingford.
Bedroom sizes were great and beds were so comfortable.
Kitchen and living area had everything we needed.
Outside was so safe as it had electric gates. Being dog friendly was such a bonus as our pups are part of our family.
Sharon was an amazing host and given us all the information needed. We would definitely come back again!
Breakfast was fab. Thought the hotel was going to be a little bit more modern for the price we paid though but was still nice. Bar staff seemed reluctant to want an order placed for cocktails as he’d cleaned up. It wasn’t that near closing time but he commented on the fact twice and it’s not like they were cheap either!. There was only one other person in the bar so not like it was busy! Lady on reception was super helpful and food was fab. We would stay again but I think I’ll bring my own drinks 😂
Fantastic location. Warm welcome.
Comfy room relaxing and spotless, with garden view.
Bottled water and Biscuit treats nice touch.
Food is delicious and freshly cooked. I reccomend the Apple Crumble, scrumptious warm Crunchy Apple Crumble topped with Ice cream and warm Custard. Served with a smile.
Worth travelling 3.5 hours to this exceptional Country Hotel.
Parking on site. Leisure Centre and beautiful mature grounds. 10/10
I stayed at the Glen Gat House in 2018 and was excited to go back this week. One of the best bed and breakfasts I've ever stayed at. It's a charming spacious house with good sized rooms, extremely clean, comfortable and a staff that is both friendly and welcoming. And a wonderful full Irish breakfast included in the beautiful dining room. Highly recommended to anyone traveling in the area!
This is an outstanding b&b. Very friendly hosts, who offered excellent food suggestions, and a considerate staff. The place is immaculately clean and a comfy place to relax after a day of travel. And the best breakfast in the morning. The best in Ireland, after three weeks of travel. They have operated this b&b for decades and the positives show.
This spot provided the perfect stay for us on our first couple nights in Ireland. It was incredibly cozy, well-kept, fantastic location to venture into smaller towns during the day/evening while having a nice and quiet respite for the night. Walking up to the sunrise and sheep sounds was the perfect idyllic Irish experience.
Beautiful hotel. Clearly not that long opened. Great open reception, and really nice bar / restaurant area. Even 'pod' facilities added outside in light of Covid situation. Great place to stay with Costa and other shops in same area, and very close to beautiful Blackrock.
It was big enough to afford everyone in our group their own rooms and still be cost effective for us. The bathrooms were shared, but well-kept and stocked. It was a quiet area and we enjoyed a wonderfully restful night after a long couple of days of traveling.
A very specious and exceptional en-suite room also a confortable bed certainly contributed to a delightful experience.
Staff very friendly.
Overall, accomodating service at Gateway Hotel, made our stay more enjoyable.
Ronnie was lovely and very knowledgeable, and Irina was excellent and attentive! We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone we know passing through Dundalk. It was so clean and the house is so well kept!
Perfect location for a night out and some shopping as all the popular pubs and bars are close and also few mins walk from the Marshes Shopping center and other shops. Hotel also has free carpark. Staff were very helpful .
The absolutely gorgeous hidden garden across the street from the hotel- we spent over an hour there - so many pretty flowers and plants to look at! The cafe was good as well with a lovely view of the gazebo and flowers
We love that the Fairways Hotel is so near to us this is our 4th time staying and we will be returning always a great experience. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant.
Perfect location in the town centre. Large, bright, spacious loft space, open plan design. Clean and comfortable. Excellent communication with the host regarding parking and heating.
I've stayed there before. There's a good atmosphere, it's comfortable, breakfast is nice, the guesthouse is convenient to the town centre and the bedroom is clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was really tasty and although buffet style, fresh. Staff are great. 3rd time visiting this hotel and will be back as travelling g to Dundalk frequently to visit son
location
the host - Teresa was fantastic. She was very helpful and made sure I felt at home. Being located right in the city centre makes this property the preferred choice.
> Secret Garden is beautiful.
> Great location from which to visit the Carlingford Lough area, just outside Nery and Dundalk down the road. Nice part of the world!
Great location; only a 10 minute walk from the town centre.
Lindzy was extremely friendly and catering.
Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Dundalk.
