The staff were always willing to help and go above and beyond. Very nice people and they are the reason we would visit again. We did have a lovely view of the park and garden across the street. The bed was comfortable. The food and music at the bar were wonderful.

We stayed in the suite. The bedroom was roomy. We also loved having a kitchenette. The host had stocked the refrigerator with a few items and also brought us warm croissants in the morning!

Our stay at Foxhollow House was wonderful. Vicky was a great host and the location was perfect for us. The neighborhood is adorable, safe, and quiet. It's about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to dining options. Blarney Castle & Gardens are super close making it an excellent place to stay if you're planning to visit those sites. Breakfast included cold cereals, yogurt, cheeses, fruit, coffee, etc.

Kind to leave some things for breakfast that was unexpected, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, toast & bananas.

Blarney made a great post for us to adventure around the south of Ireland. We spent 5 days here bouncing from Cork to the coast and in between. It is small and quiet but charming. There is plenty to visit in the town so we did spend a whole day here as well visiting the castle and local shops.

Blarney is a wonderful little town.
Blarney is a wonderful little town. We enjoyed eating at Muskerry Arms Bar and Christy's Bar while we were there. Everything was walkable and felt very safe. We also bought a few items from Blarney Woolen Mills. This store offered the most Irish wool clothing of anywhere we saw throughout our tour of the country.
We also visited Blarney Castle and grounds. The gardens around Blarney Castle are incredible. There is so much more to see here than we expected. Our trip was in March, so we needed to wear a light winter jacket, but that also meant there were no lines for kissing the stone and touring the castle.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. However, facilities were poor with no on-site restaurant after 4pm, reception area small, food only available in the pub next door. Fine for a business trip but not for a holiday, very basic.

It is a fab hotel but there is something going on with the lift. Every time we got into the lift there was a really bad smell. It smelt like sewage . When we were leaving that morning it was really bad. Other than that l had no complaints . Very happy.

The hotel was lovely.
The hotel was lovely. I was there during a very warm spell so opened the window for air. Unfortunately since my room also overlooked the parking lot, there was noise and light pollution. This would not have been a problem though, but for the open windows.

Lots to see here in addition to the castle.
Lots to see here in addition to the castle. There was no wait line to see the stone and I still spent about two hours looking around the castle and grounds. Note there is a considerable climb up a tight, circular, old stone staircase to get to the stone! But you can see most of the castle without climbing.
The Muskerry Arms was in the middle of the village and very close to the Blarney Castle, a stroll away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and so so comfortable. Beds were georgous with beautiful white linen. The decor of the room was fabulous and they had everything we needed, a kettle, tea etc. The bathroom was georgous and everything very very clean. Food was wonderful!! Could not praise the Muskerry Arms enough, would highly recommend it.
The rooms were recently done up and they were very comfortable and spacious.
So close to blarney castle a 2 minute walk !
We had Eva serving us and she was so fab and attentive!
All the waitresses and bar staff were amazing and friendly.
The lady in the reception was also so kind and a perfect person to meet when checking in or out of the hotel !
Finally the food is amazing and so well priced ! I couldn’t decide what to get because everything looked so good .
Absolutely loved the care, attention to detail and the extra effort put forth by Gene and his team to make our stay exceptional! Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were top notch and our room was modern, clean, well appointed and you just can't beat the location to both Cork City and Blarney Castle! I can't recommend this hotel enough. This was trip "home" for me and the Blarney Castle Hotel made it that much more special to me :)
Olwen was wonderful, charming and accommodating. Sh has a passion for making your stay perfect.
The room was spacious, clean and had a wonderful view. We were able to observe all kinds of wildlife including a fix running through property.
the breakfast was the best in Ireland. All fresh and plentiful.
We regret having to leave. Its a perfect place to stay when visiting Blarney Castle and the area.
The room was fabulous with a beautiful view of the Blarney Castle. a full breakfast was included and it was great. The room was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed. It is an easy walk to the castle so we could leave the car at the hotel, which has free parking. There is a wonderful pub/retaurant/shopping right on the premises.
The location was excellent. 5 minute drive from the Castle and Blarney Village.
Breakfast was perfect and filled us for the whole day!
Siobhan was the perfect hostess, extremely helpful with regards to places to eat in the evening and genuinely interested in us and our trip.
Will be back there again on our next trip to the area.
Book early. So the suite of 2 bedrooms came available unexpectadly, so we were lucky. Hotels in cork were 400 for 1 night for one bedroom and we got 2 with à kitchionette. The beds are comfy, it has its own door, parking and the host vicky leàves you alone. Its close to a garage wìth hot food which opens at 6am in blarnèy
The rooms were clean, the staff was so friendly, and the hotel was in a lovely area…A few minutes walk to the Blarney Castle. Although they had Irish music both nights we were there, you couldn’t really hear it from the room so it wasn’t a problem. We would definitely stay there again.
Very clean and comfortable. I was traveling alone and felt safe. Convenient to town and perfect for being the first to arrive at Blarney Castle and skip the lines. A full hot breakfast is not offered but you can bring your own food and store.
Such a lovely stay in Blarney right next to Blarney castle and short travel from Cork city. Great hosts. Lovely house, easy to find. Plenty of groceries in the kitchen to compose a tasty breakfast from. Definitely recommend.
Great directions to the property and how to get in. Very comfy beds, and nice decoration. Parking right in drive of property. Very close to Blarney town centre and great recommendation for dinner at the Castle hotel.
Nicely self contained. Good selection for self serve continental breakfast. Cutlery and plates for eating a takeaway dinner from Blarney Village eateries. Good parking. Friendly host.
Exceptional breakfast, room amazing, great hospitality and well positioned to visit Blarney Castle, Cobh and Cork and Kinsale Head and Kinsale plus Clonakilty. On driving trip.
Beautiful hotel, comfortable room, excellent shower. Restaurants had excellent food. Great location to Blarney, Cobh & Cork. Very friendly and helpful staff.
A lovely hotel. Nice pub and breakfast was good. The room was lovely, spacious and nicely decorated. It is also walking distance to the Blarney Castle.
