Situated in a small village and surrounded by rice fields, it was magical to wake up with a view of rice terraces. The room was big and very clean. It could get quite warm in the room without an a/c but the hotel provides a super powerful fan, so it was not an issue. The restaurant has very good food and you can book many activities through the hotel. You can do selfguided walk around the rice fields, but we chose to do it with a guide and it was one of the most memorable days of our trip to Bali. Our guide, Willy, was very informative about all stages of growing rice and life in Bali, he is such a wonderful and delightful person to talk to. We are so happy we chose to do a guided walk. All other staff were also very nice, humble and polite. The hotel also has a spa where you can get a massage. It was good quality and well priced.

Such an incredible place to stay! The views from our room were insanely gorgeous. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and welcoming. The villa was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable and all of the facilities were great. So relaxing and peaceful with the ocean sounds right outside our room. The villa's restaurant was amazing too. Walking distance to so much beauty.

The restaurant with the pool area is really like Heaven, I and my husband were amazed by the beautiful scenery. The tranquility and the fresh air there is what I enjoyed most. The staff no matter the manager or general staff, they were all very attentive to us. They can spot our needs before we raised our request. The food in the hotel restaurant was also great. We wish we could stay longer :)

The staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The attendants were always available and responsive to our needs.
The hotel's restaurant is a must-visit for its delectable cuisine. The food was absolutely great, and I highly recommend including the breakfast in your stay. The breakfast spread was diverse, fresh, and delicious, providing the perfect start to the day.
The accommodation itself was truly amazing. The rooms were beautifully designed, with a cozy and inviting ambiance. The soft pillows and comfortable bedding, combined with the cozy blankets, made for a restful night's sleep. Additionally, having Netflix on the TV was a nice touch for entertainment.
One of the standout features of this hotel is its breathtaking view. Whether you're admiring the cityscape or the natural surroundings, the views are simply outstanding, adding to the overall experience.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It was an exceptional experience, and I will definitely return for another stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay.

Amazing views to mountains from basically any hotel or restaurant. Many hiking trails to waterfalls or little bit further by the lake. Beautiful nature and very friendly locals. Stayed at Adila Homestay - very nice place with restaurant and many services on site + waterfalls hiking track behind their house. Also visited restaurant Made Warung and warung Kadirasa - both family owned by locals, in Kadirasa I was albe to sing karaoke with the owner. Please go and support them in every way possible, its really hard to survive out here for them.

Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Recommend some level of walking fitness before going - more than 1 500 uphill steps during the day resulted in delayed onset muscle soreness for a couple of days.
Take a GoPro for the waterfalls.
Water temple also worth visiting.

Excellent weather, albeit a bit chilly even in July. Greenery all around. Winding roads (not recommended to roam these roads by car if you get car sick easily). Plenty of waterfalls, though all of them require a bit of a trek. Very few tourists compared to southern part of the island.

For nature lovers that love to explore - tonnes of waterfalls in the area including the breathtaking Sekumpul Waterfall and the Lemukih Natural Water Slide were completely epic! The roads are decent to ride a scooter around and you get to see way more! On our next trip to Bali, we have already noted that Munduk is 1 of the places we would return to.

A wonderful place for nature lovers.
A wonderful place for nature lovers. A totally different side to bali, more authentic in a way. Waterfalls, lakes, mountains amd temples. A quaint little village. Absolutely worth seeing. Only issue is it's hard to get around, as you areore reliant on a local driver.
1. The hospitality. Stuffs are excellent to meet your requirements.
2. The cleanliness. The whole resort is perfectly cleaned.
3. The room. Room and bath room both are good. Love their bathroom.
4. The location. It's not in heart of the Munduk. You have to travel 10-15 mins by your car. But once you reach you will get a excellent beauty. It's just peace and calm environment.
5. They have excellent kitchen. You will get Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food quality and taste is good (though it differs). Good break fast.
A beautiful hostel located in the green and lush countryside of Munduk. I had a great stay here and extended twice my stay. The owner and the staff is super friendly and they offer delicious breakfast and dinner. They can also arrange any tour or taxi you need during your stay. The beds are big and comfy, I slept like a baby. To get to the place you need a scooter, there is no grab around but you can ask for a local taxi. I met other travelers while staying and really enjoyed the quietness of the place.
I liked the location, very convenient, close to all Munduk’s main attractions. Beautiful and well kept garden and great views. In-site restaurant is convenient. Room had a small terrace where I spent most time as I didn’t liked the room at all. Of course, it’s incredibly cheap too. Good mosquito net, which you need cause the room is infested with mosquitoes and all kinds of insects.
The family seems very kind, but there is a lot that needs improvement in terms of the hygiene of the place.
I absolutely loved everything about my stay. My room was wonderful with the most beautiful view of the mountains. Every single member of the staff I met were incredibly friendly, kind, helpful and professional. The breakfast was amazing and there’s a number of activities included with the price of the room. This was a unique experience to me and I can highly recommend a stay at the Munduk Moding Plantation Nature Resort.
The view was nice. The room was also spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. Good location for walking to waterfalls in the area. And they also have a decent restaurant in the hotel where you can have some food. Breakfast was also a good option to have. The staff was friendly and trying to help although not all of them speak English. Thanks for your help!
The best of this hotel is definitely the view and food, otherwise it falls a bit short even for the price.
People there are really nice although their food service is really slow (almost 25min wating for breakfast).
I recommend eating there, food is really good. You must try the vegan curry, the the noodles and the pandam pancakes, they are incredible.
This is my third stay and my favorite place to stay in Munduk. Everything about it is wonderful. The view and area is absolutely stunning, It's very comfortable and clean and Sami who welcomes you and makes your breakfast is the most lovely guy who will go out his way to help you with anything! I always wish I could stay longer and hate leaving.
View from the villa was absolute owsome. In the pool side villa you have your own deck/balcony with sunbeds👌🏼 Infinity pool is so cool. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is average. You can also have dinner and lunch in hotel restaurant, if you want.
Really value for your money!
One of the best home stays we’ve stayed in during our 6 months around south east Asia! So lovely and clean, perfect location to start the 4 Munduk waterfalls walk and the people are so incredibly lovely, helping us book our transfers and rent a scooter! The food is amazing as well!
Incredible staff, beautiful surroundings. Secluded location a bit far from the village but they provide free drop off and pick up to and from Munduk.
Good variety of activities fairly priced. Just make sure the weather will be good during your stay, otherwise nothing to do.
Amazing place with a very nice and friendly people. You can try a lot of delicious food in the restaurant on the first floor.
Great location. Once you start Munduk waterfalls track you will finish exactly next to the hostel. Definitely will recommend it to my friends🙏
The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They provided free transfers to the munduk waterfall trek. The view from the infinity pool was priceless. Incredible value for money. Loved the food. Room was beautiful and clean. Everything was just perfection!
The only positive point of this hotel is a very kind gentleman who gave me ideas for walking around and always had a smile on his face when I met him! ( I didn't ask his name unfortunately but he had glasses )
The location was perfect for exploring Munduk and is placed at the start of the waterfall walk! The staff were very kind and friendly! They organised a taxi for us and the food was also delicious!
Everything is clean, the bedroom is nice. You can start from the hotel a nice trekking to see all the waterfalls.
The ambience is so familiar and the staff is so kind.
