Everything. Great staff, great breakfast (if I say great, I really mean it!Mniam, mniam i Polish, yummy, yummy in English!) but, first of all, the very atmosphere of the place. It`s a magnificent establishment, every detail, like paintings on the walls or even small figurines of animals in the garden area show that the owners take care of every possible aspect of the area.
And this breakfast - just wonderful!!

Very nice hotel, just next to the thermal baths. A beautiful retro style, convenient and well furnished with big rooms and spacious bathroom. All very clean. The bedroom beds were very comfortable while the sofa bed was not so much. Private parking lot is next to the hotel but is usually very busy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at this place very much and would be happy to come again.

Harkany is a small quiet town and when we walked in the evening, some local restaurants (csarda) we saw on Google maps were closed (February). We tried to enter some restaurants at 20h and were told that the kitchen is closed at 18h. Everything is closed in this town in the evening. Funny, but the only way to find some food was to go to Spar supermarket and get some ready-to-go cooked food. Only another thing we found working in the evening was Tenkes Csarda, 6km drive by car. The local bakery on the main street has some local cakes, but the selection was very limited and was nothing special.

Well, what everybody will rather dislike is the current...
Well, what everybody will rather dislike is the current inflation and, consequently, rising prices, but this rise is not that huge. Harkany is an ideal place for relaxation, swimming, lying on the grass in the park where the pools are located, and doing nothing apart from enjoying your time there.
If you like the wine offered in the bar located next to the main entrance to the strandfurdo, visit the vinery - its owner is Gergen Birtok and you`ll find his shop in Siklos-Gyod, Jaro Peter ut.35. You can buy there wine on draft or in bottles.

I can sincerely recommend Harkany to everybody starting from...
I can sincerely recommend Harkany to everybody starting from families with kids, ending on older tourists looking for good relaxation.
Apart from the pools which are the most important attraction, there are some other must-try things - Szigeti Halaszcsarda with fish dishes, Setany Etterem and Amadeus Cukraszda (especially when you travel with kids)
The city is small, so you can get everywhere on foot or borrow a bike.
Visit Siklos with its castle and go to Villany where you can enjoy wine. My hot favourite - Osi Gabor Pinceszete, the shop located in Villány, at Baross Gábor Street 56 and their white, semi-sweet Mustra.

My friends and I had a great time in this vintage design, elegant apartment! The host was very kind to us too! Quite ok located, for us it was important to be close to the thermal baths which was like a 10 minutes walk, tops. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a cozy and stylish stay with friends or as a couple!
