Considering the prices in the area it's a good value for money but it's not the best stay you can get.

The meals were delicious with a wide variety of choices. The hotel is close to the wine cellars of Farkasmály, where it is possible to taste different kinds of excellent quality wine for a relatively low price. The hotel is close to the hiking routes of Mátra. You can reach Mátrafüred in 15 minutes by car, where you can park your car and follow the natural hiking routes. If you do not like walking you can go to Kékes, the highest point in Hungary.

close proximity to the heavy industry in the region, the company hotel would have been a 45min drive away at least,
limited breakfast selection but absoluetly sufficient also took care to cater for a colleague who required gluten free food
The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Dinner was exceptionally good. The cleanliness of the rooms was perfect and as soon as we entered the room, a very good smell permeated the whole place.
The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly.
We will definitely come back if we visit gyongyos again!
