The location of this hotel is excellent, just across the road to the aquapark and short walk distance to town centre. Breakfast and dinner options are very good, I appreciated the fresh made options from the "grill". Rooms are very spacious and clean. Amazing play area for all age groups.
Situated within the Szt. Adalbert Centre, this hotel is located at the foot of the Castle Hill, next to the Esztergom Basilica. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

Pleasant, cosy and clean hotel in the centre of the city. Helpful staff and a very tasty (self service) breakfast for a reasonable price.

Esztergom is a beautiful historical town. People are friendly here, as in most of Hungary. Excellent shopping and dining options. Sometimes there is a problem with parking down in the city. Very good parking options around the basilica.

Esztergom is not a big city and it gives opportunities for travelers to walk to most of the sights. The importance of the city on the Danube was high and it is rich in history. The seat of the head of the Hungarian Catholic church is in Esztergom and the cathedral is stunningly beautiful with a cafe in the dome part, which provides uncomparable view of the city and the surroundings.
I would visit again if I have opportunity!

With the basilica looming above it, there's a real sense of history about this town. Very filmic atmosphere. Lovely river frontage and great cycleways and walkways. The town square has its own wishing well fountain a la Trevi.
it's close by train to Budpest and definitely worth a weekend or more stay

Lots of colourful pansies everywhere, a very clean and well kept town with plenty of cafes and bars. Wonderful views over the Danube from the castle at the top of the hill. Well worth a visit as it is less than 2 hours from Budapest on the train.

Esztergom is a charming little town, with pretty streets and a wonderful cathedral to visit. It's easy walking distance everywhere. We ate in the evening in a great restaurant not far from the river called Mediterraneo, which we would thoroughly recommend. There was also a cracking little venue called Sportalsó which had live music on.

The scenery was really nice, but we couldn't get up on the train, which was supposed to get around the town.We wanted to go for a boat trip or something, but it was closed and not many information was around about that. The bus which was taking us into the town was clean and nice, the price wasn't expensive either.I recommend Paddy's,it was perfect, the food excellent, not to expensive and the service also excellent.

Location brilliant but Google maps takes you to a different hotel along the street. The right one is nearby but not completely obvious. Facilities great, including Jacuzzi for 4 people. Breakfast ok. My son appreciated the free drinks on tap during the day.
Location was excellent. Close to the Danube, the Basilica, and transportation. The host was very communicative too. Instructions were clear. Local restaurants were excellent too. Easy bus trip over to Visegrad as well. Looking forward to coming back.
Great location, very good breakfast and amazing restaurant (top rated). Nice little boutique hotel but mostly unstaffed, it was almost like all self-service. This wasn't a big deal though.
