Nicely placed in the harbor near to some great restaurants and lovely for an evening stroll along the waterside. Rooms are basic but clean, water is warm and airco is cold. A big thank you to the lovely lady who made us breakfast because we had to leave very early 🙏🏻.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! It’s so quaint and full of character, but it is super clean and comfortable. I was so impressed with my room - it was stylish, well equipped with air con, a kettle and fridge and a hairdryer, and the bed was large and comfy. The decor was just lovely! The bathroom was also clean and well kept.
The hosts, Nina and Tanja-A, were absolutely fantastic. They communicated with me so clearly from the start, with super speedy replies, and they answered all my questions. When my flight was delayed, they were very understanding and sent me the instructions on self-check in so that I didn’t have to worry what time I arrived and could just go straight to my room without any faff. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay, I wish I could’ve stayed longer!
And just a quick note that the surrounding area was absolutely stunning. I was completely blown away with how beautiful it was there.

It is a local area, but the beach is not the most clean if you are looking for clean water to swimming. Parking can feel a bit intense if you want to spend the day there but I get the impression Parking is always difficult in Croatia, especially close to city or even in a beach swimming area.

Beautiful place very close to Split airport.
Beautiful place very close to Split airport. Easy to walk for a few miles along the coastal route in relative safety.
Taxis to and from the airport are rediculously expensive for a 4 mile journey. However, there is a regular bus service from all Kastela regions to the airport for 3 euros, if you are able to carry your luggage.

Roomy 1 bedroom apartment with open plan kitchen/diner/...
Roomy 1 bedroom apartment with open plan kitchen/diner/living room. The property is a little dated but has all the essentional equipment and utensils. 1 flight of stairs to own entrance. Private bathroom (toilet, handbasin and shower). Only 1 air con in the property (in the corridor). Apartment gets quite warm, at this time of year, so would be good to have at least 1 more air con unit, preferably in the bedroom. Nice terrace with table and chairs, with vines/grapes growing to form a canopy giving shade. 100m from main road. I walked to the property from the airport, but i believe, bus service to and from Split to the airport goes along this main road..Close to seafront, grocery shop and a few restaurants/cafes. Host who met me with keys does not speak English.

Nice little town, great for a family stay.
Nice little town, great for a family stay.
We were there in beg-September - not too crowded, the weather was still very warm and the sea was clean and accessible with rather small but clean beaches. It was a little windy for 3 days.
What turned out to be important for us - they have a good emergency room in the middle of the village operating 24/7 (we needed it for my 2yo who fell down and needed a few stitches).

if you want to go from one place to several interesting places in a few days, the accommodation is perfect! From here we went to Split, Trogir, Mostar and the Kravica waterfall. Kastela is a calm but not very interesting small town. Of course, there is also a harbor and restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, but this was not the point for us.
