Windjammer was everything I could ever have wanted in a hotel. Beautifully picturesque, quiet, clean, comfortable, it had all of that. But most importantly, the staff were just amazing. I've never felt as much like family as we did at the windjammer - every single person went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and at home, and I saw them doing that for all the other guests as well. I'm not normally one to rate a place solely on the attitude of the staff, but I can tell you point blank that our trip would have been mediocre if we'd stayed at any other hotel, but *because of the windjammer staff* it was one of the best trips of my life.

From arrival to departure, it was a fabulous experience. The owners of the apartment were very kind and helpful, and the apartment was lovely. Tastefully furnished, extremely clean and very comfortable. They provided coffee, tea and sugar which were a godsend in the morning, and even groceries such as milk, eggs, bread, butter, peanut butter and OJ which were much appreciated. And there is also delicious food less than 200 ft away.

The room met my expectations, actually I did not expect such a nice room being in Guyana. Clean and the staff were very friendly. Despite some family issues with being sick, my stay was great.
