The property is at an extremely calm location, very green and has a beautiful old tree in front. Our room was clean and spacious, bed and pillows were super comfy, bathroom was nice, too. We travelled all around Crete and loved it and this is one of the best places we stayed at. Excellent value for money!

Perfect Apartment for a couple with a good location to explore the mountain area or some beaches near by. The apartment had a nice balcony and a kitchen. It was extremely calm.

The house was FANTASTIC, and super nice. It was very nice having a full kitchen we could cook at. My favourite part was the booklet of beaches and places to eat she had left out. Very helpful having all the descriptions in one place! She also had left beers, and cheese/ham in the fridge for us to make sandwiches! My friends and I stayed at over 7 hotels while in Greece and this was by far our favourite. AC in both bedrooms was super useful at there was a huge heatwave with temperatures up to 45*Celsius while we were there. Mini market walking distance/around the corner for any grocery needs we had, as well as a full size fridge in the apartment were both incredible useful! There was an outdoor area to sit/lie down on beach chairs which were amazing for viewing the stars at night.

Excellent stay in Vlatos; lovely villa with very large outdoor area. The villa was very well equipped/stocked (better than what we have experienced in other villa's). Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. Quiet surroundings. Very friendly owner/agent/cleaning lady. The villa is located right in the middle between the beaches of South West Crete & North West Crete + close to Topolia Gorge (where we did a hike)

Elegant tasteful architectural renovation of very old traditional village house in supremely peaceful location. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and large kitchen. Two patios - one private space and another one on which to eat, overlooking the village and mountains. Helpful and welcoming hosts. Superbly clean and a cleaner came in half-way through stay, washed floors etc and gave new sheets and towels. Fittings and appliances brand new. Mountain village location with tremendous birds and wildlife. Fell asleep to the peep-peep calls of the Nightjar, awoke to the crowing of roosters and a peacock. Accessed by main road between Kissamos and Palaochora via Topolia Gorge - 45 mins to Kisamos, 1.5 hours to Palaochora, around two hours to Chania airport. Thank you Gregory and Eleni, we had a very happy time.

A very lovely, spacious and clean homely hotel. The hostess Dina is a very kind and warm person. She`s directions (handwritten) for exploring the surrounding area and sightseeing are excellent. In addition, there is everything a visitor may need during a stay, even a coffee machine, coffee and sugar. Apples and cookies were waiting on the table, and the whole hotel has a lot of homely warmth. Parking is right near to the house. We definitely recommend staying at Dina's place, it's a great experience.

It is a typical old house with a private parking place nearby on the main road from Chania to Elafonisi. The beaches can be reached by car on the very good road within 10 minutes. Nearest restaurant is Stomio (5 minutes down by the road, very good). The house is renovated and cosy. Shower and kitchen is working perfect. Aircon I did not try. The house has a small window and a main door going to the street with a moskito net. In front is a small garden with a small table and chairs. On the site is a old olive tree and a limon tree. There are stairs you can walk up on top of the house looking down into the valley. Like the historical old cretan farmer houses, it is rather dark inside, but the electric light is very good and you can leave the main door open in the night and close only the moskito door for fresh air. There is a keylock save on the side of the door where you can get the key. The owner will contact you by whatsapp and give some tips for dinner. A bigger mini market is on the road to Elafonisi, otherwise I recommend to buy the things you need for breakfast in Chania or Kissamos supermarkets. A good location when you want to spend the day on the beaches and prefer a cooler location for sleeping in the night.
