We booked the king suite with the deck and hot tub. It was plenty big enough for our family of four and the deck was a great feature for star gazing. The breakfast was excellent, the best we had at our hotels in Greece. We had a couple of delicious dinners at the restaurant and all of the staff were welcoming and helpful. The pool area was relaxing and clean. We also had a great lunch and dinner at a restaurant affiliated with the hotel, which was across the street and down by the beach with a view of the sea. The hotel picked us up at the ferry and arranged for our taxi to the airport. We highly recommend this hotel!

Georgia from the Front Office Manager went way above and beyond to arrange a private Mama Mia tour when the boat tours wouldn’t go to the church due to wind. She is incredible and kind. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Hotel is extremely clean and has a beautiful beach and it is very walkable to the town.  You cannot go wrong with this hotel. Great value!

Nice beaches but everything was extremely touristic and overcrowded. It is easy to move along the island, you don't need to rent a personal mean of transportation. Open air cinema experience was really cool. If you're looking for relax and authenticity try Skopelos instead ;)

We visited during the last week of October which was at the end of the season, so many restaurants bars ,shops were closed. Despite this enough tavernas / restaurants were open to eat somewhere different for our three day stay.
The weather was perfect hot enough but not too hot. There’s not a lot to do, but if you like just to relax and watch the world go by then it’s perfect.
You can easily walk around the town

The city is pretty small, slightly hilly and you can reach everything by feet.
You will not find the typical relaxed Greece feeling here.

Skiathos is beautiful and we are so glad we decided to visit...
Skiathos is beautiful and we are so glad we decided to visit. There are many cute shops and restaurants in the town near the port. We spent four nights there, which was the perfect amount of time. The highlight of our trip were the tours we took on the Kalypso Boat. We spent one day on the Sea and Sun Island Day cruise, which took us to the remote beaches of Lalaria and Kastro and the island of Tsougris. We also took the sunset cruise to Lalaria. There were so few people there, it was amazing! We had great food and drinks, relaxed by the pool and at the beach, and enjoyed meeting welcoming and helpful locals.

- 800m from the airport, you can literally walk from the terminal to your room :)
- Ideal for plane spotting, you can watch arrivals/departures from your window. 1st arrival is usually after 9:00 and last departure ~21:00 so airport noise never bothered our sleep.

The staff and owner of Mondrian guest house did everything in their power to make my stay wonderful! They met me and guided me back to the hotel, helped with my luggage, transported me to the airport twice & were very accommodating in giving suggestions as to what to do & where to eat in the area. I loved the brand new facilities and felt like I was living in luxury! I highly recommend Mondrian Guest house especially for it's convenient location & brand new amenities. I would stay here again in a heart beat!
The apartment is spacious and cosy, with old, but working appliances. From the balcony you can enjoy the view of the old port in Skiathos town. The location is great, close to everything you need. Since there's an airport close by, you can see and hear a lot of airplanes flying by from the balcony, which can be a pro or con. The housekeeping was done daily by a very frendly Greek lady, the staff of the hotel where we did our check-in was also very nice and helpful.
We LOVED our six night stay at Hotel Rene! We stayed from June 20-26 ~ I'm sorry it has taken me awhile to post this. We enjoyed the pool and the fantastic views of the sea. We loved the pool, and our large private veranda in from of room - also with amazing views. The room was inpecciably clean. Our favorite part of our stay was the host. He was so friendly and accomodating. Thank you for a wonderful visit! We hope to come back again!
The location is really great, just a few meters from the port and the main shopping street of Skiathos. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are nice and clean. We arrived before 14.00 and they let us check in earlier. Right next to the hotel is also the hotel cafe which offers great choices for breakfast. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and recommend Kallisti Apartments.

The rooms are cleaned every day. Location is good - 15 minutes walk to the city centre. Breakfast is amazing, with a variery of sweet and savoury pastries, fruits, grains, etc. Staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant also has great food and coctails.
This hotel has a fantastic location right in the centre of Skiathos Town. Everything you need is on the doorstep yet once inside the hotel it is nice and quiet. Everything was clean and well looked after and the staff were very helpful.
