The staff were exceptional thank you Stelios (for your tips for the best places to visit and eat) Aria for your excellent hospitality and service at breakfast and Alesandra for the extra coffee pods! Thank you to our house keeper for the daily clean and towel creativity from crabs and crocodiles to a house and airplane on the day we left!

Really nice hotel with a great pool! The staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet had lots of options. Beautiful view from the balcony and a very pretty beach right opposite (but down some steep steps). Slightly far out of skala (45 min walk) but there’s a minibus from the hotel for €1.50 or a taxi is only €7 one way. There’s also some great restaurants nearby.

Fabulous apartment, view is truly stunning. Spotlessly clean with a daily cleaning included. Location was great for us, chilled out holiday which was needed.

Skala beach is great, although it is not sandy. There are water sports available and lots of umbrella's and beach bars to choose from. It gets deep quickly making it perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

It’s a great location.
It’s a great location. It has bars and restaurants but not big night life. Which I like. More family and friends & couples. Which makes the area even more special. No big groups of party etc. Any restaurant on the square is great. ( especially Pines and Flamingo) it’s Small enough to get around but packed with options for drinking and eating out.

Skala is a lovely resort that retains its Greek character and has a lovely beach and some wonderful restaurants. The locals are very friendly and the village has plenty of bars and restaurants to suit everyone. A perfect holiday!

Skala has the right balance of restaurants Taverners , beaches cocktail bars and a lively dancing bar suited for older people. Places for coffee. No real negatives.
Something for everyone. Bakery’s and snack bars .

Lovely small town. Uncrowded when we went mid June. All the restaurants we used were good. Big choice of places to eat.
Good walk up to Old Skala in the guides.
Maps and trips and excursions easily available. Although we couldn't go on boat trip as weather not good .
Great beaches for swimming. Less suitable for small children as slope away quickly. Shingle not sand.
We went for a wedding ceremony - a beautiful place to be.

Lovely views of the ocean and only a short walk to the beach (one of the sandiest we found in Kefalonia). Very close to Skala town (restaurants, night life, grocery store). Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, air conditioning worked great. Good safe parking. There is a table and chairs on the porch perfect for dinners/drinks under the stars. Also a hanging rack to dry clothes out front! The staff were extremely nice and caring!! They tidy up the rooms very frequently.

It is very clean, well equipped, and very nice location, closed to both Kaminia and Skala beaches.
Air conditioning in all rooms, parking place, shower outside to get rid of sand when coming from beach, in one sentence "the perfect place to stay when in kefalonia".
Hosts were very kind, they even served us with vegetables from their garden.
The staff at Porto Skala Hotel was extremely welcoming and kind! Beautiful smiles and so helpful with anything! The morning breakfast buffet was vast and whoever was in the kitchen definitely enjoyed making deserts (even for breakfast!). The small beach in front of the hotel was breathtakingly beautiful! The pool was a perfect place for a family with kids to relax/have fun!
I have not been abroad for about 5 years and was apprehensive about being away yet Wendy was simply amazing, 1st name terms from meeting us at the door. Loved every minute. Theo and Arris on the bar (father and son) were super fab and super company! Can't praise the cleanliness and standard of hotel enough, already counting down to next visit. Thank you Melidrone xxxxx

We have just returned home from a wonderful holiday in Skala Kefalonia. Our stay in the Paspalis Hotel was excellent we would all definitely book to stay again. Lovely friendly Taverna for breakfast and all the meals we had there in the evening were very good. Close to the beach and a pleasant walk into the village.
Stayed at the Big Village as had to be out of our accommodation and had late flight. Room was basic but clean . Used the pool here most days lovely bar staff Alexis and morning lady sorry forgot name really helpful and great service a credit to hotel. Receptionist was very friendly and cleaning staff.
The staff were all so lovely and helpful. Special thanks to Sergio for the loan of an iPhone charging lead and making the best coffees and cocktails. Also Maria for helping with car and taxi bookings.The hotel is in an excellent location and the pool area is lovely.
The hotel is located right next to the beach, just cross the street and you are on the beach with crystal clear water. The hotel has everything you need on summer holiday. The property is surrounded by beautiful garden. Lovely place with very kind staff.
