Mouikis Hotel Kefalonia, hotel in Sarlata

Centrally located in a peaceful area of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, the stylish, eco-friendly Mouikis Hotel Kefalonia has rooms with balcony and free Wi-Fi.

Excellent location, rooftop garden with hot tub. They upgraded our room and we had a huge room with a balcony we could have sunbathed on if we had stayed longer. We were in the town for one night only, and found the hotel perfect for cocktails nearby in the evening and then seeing the turtles in the morning! Breakfast was good, staff were friendly.

Tourist Boutique Hotel, hotel in Sarlata

The seaside Tourist Hotel offers air-conditioned and soundproofed rooms. Most units boast views of the sea and Argostoli pebble beach, where Caretta Caretta sea turtles return yearly to nest.

Really nice hotel located right on the waterfront of the Argostoli Harbour and about a 5min walk to any major sight seeing point in the town. Perfect stay for us as a couple, we had a lovely room that was fine in size with a balcony that looked over the water. Hotel breakfast was 10/10 had everything you would want to try in Greece and they even had fresh honeycomb! Check in and out was perfectly fine. Shower had good pressure and the amenities in the bathroom were well thought out! Had pretty much everything you could need in case you forgot something!

Hotel Aggelos Kefalonia, hotel in Sarlata

Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia there you will find Hotel Aggelos Kefalonia. A small, elegant hotel, with similar prestige, built in the neoclassical architectural style of Kefalonia.

Very easy to find, just 5 minutes walk from the main square. Beatiful view of the harbour in front, and for the most part a very quiet area. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with a great range of products. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.

Our room with balcony and spa was very comfortable and spacious. The location was ideal for a few days of relaxation, being close to restaurants and overlooking the square. The view, from our top floor, across the bay was outstanding.

Immaculately clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nice view of the square and an amazingly tasty and varied breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bath in the bathroom too. Staff were very professional and friendly and were immaculately presented in their uniforms.

We had a lovely welcome from Katya. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very well fitted and comfortable. Good bed and shower. A super breakfast was served on the terrace facing the harbour. It all seemed quite personal. The little dog is very endearing.

It's really close to the airport but we didn't find the plane noise offensive in any way. It's a load of little lanes that have grown up rather than being planned, presumably they originated as farm tracks, so it's all rather quaint and has character. But it is pretty much all houses, see google maps for location of mini-marts, restaurants, etc, not much in walking range. You need a car really if you're going to base here. There is some accom in the area but it's certainly not primarily a tourist area.

You definitely need a car as the villa is up in the hills and there is only Marina’s Cafe close by - 10 minutes walk . The driving can be a bit hairy until you get to the main road as roads are very narrow but generally speaking, fellow drivers are very good. The people are really lovely, friendly and helpful. Beautiful views, plant life and a usually constant breeze.
