the landscape and interior are lovely- having a pool and lounge chairs to relax in a quiet olive grove are perfect. being able to get laundry done and not eat out while traveling was a nice break.

Scenery was beautiful, harbour very pretty. The beach is narrow but water is very clean and great for a swim (no facilities on beach)

Good middle base for visiting all parts of Kefalonia, right near Melisanni and Drogarati caves. Sami centre has lots of nice restaurants. Adonis was our favourite. Great beach Antisamos is nearby. Myrtos beach about 25 mins away in car. Showers on beach a nice touch. Pretty private coves, good snorkelling, clear turquoise waters. Lots of friendly cats 🐱

There are numerous Tavernas along the harbour edge which are very pleasant and enable watching of the boats.

Sami is a great place to stay. Lots of great cafes and restaurants by the harbour. Lovely views. Good beaches and lots to explore nearby if you have a car.
The hotel was great, very helpful host, comfortable room with great views, parking, near the harbour and ferry port.

Lassi, Skala then Sami, to have a base to to explore Kefalonia easier.
Which we feel worked out perfectly.
Sami was great, we hired a Boat from 'Compass Renta boat' on two occasions - very nice people - would 100% recommend them.
Used the boat to visit Ithaki.

The property is a small, beautiful, traditional Kefalonian house. Very functional, clean and fully equipped for a family of 4. We liked the location at the edge of the town centre, the outdoor sitting area and terrace and the sea view. The garden, in particular, has the image of paradise: it opens up to the archeological site of the ancient Sami port, and it has undisturbed views of the Sami bay and the mountains beyond.
The Antisamos beach (one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece) is only a few minutes drive away. We visited it daily.
The place is in a way just magnificent. Good, well cleaned, well furnished and functional rooms, with all the greek-styled windows shades, balcony doors and all the rest 🙂
But the best part is the host, Memi (Themis' mother) - the greatest host we've met so far (not only in Greece, but overall)!
The location, in Sami, close to it's small port an marina, is great for Kefalonia - kind of in the middle of all the sites, with every corner of this big island within 1 hour driving reach.
We really enjoyed our stay. The accomodation is very close to the beach (we liked the local beach of Sami), 3 mins walk from the ferry from Patra. Very close to a big Spar, great bakeries and a gyros place. Also close to the walking trail to Ancient acropolis and Antisamos beach (which was too busy for our likings). This place is great for travels without a car, because you can find everything in Sami within walking distance.
The studio is located in a house in the middle of a beautiful garden, so you feel like you are in a small oasis. High ceilings and pleasant colors make the studio larger than its square footage. The large balcony is very suitable for eating meals, and there are benches and tables for resting in the garden. The nearest beach is 10 minutes away and it is possible to walk to the center of Sami along the coast.
This is very good accommodation just slightly above and behind the lovely town of Sami. The views are spectacular and the location is perfect, just a 10 mine stroll from the sea front with bars and tavernas. Supermarkets are even closer. My apartment had a large comfortable double bed, good shower, excellent aircon and fast wifi and was in very good order throughout. There’s plenty of parking on site.
Fantastic accommodation in the heart of Sami. A good size room with a great shower, kitchenette and balcony. Im guessing all the rooms are the same. Great to see all the essentials ie coffee pods, tea, washing up liquid, nice bottle of local wine etc all included. Super pool with comfortable sun beds. Very tasteful design and spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend.
Maria and Angelique you were so nice and really great hosts. We read some reviews that people didn’t like the area of Sami but as a couple we really did love it. The apartment is so nice and so big and has everything you could possibly need, we were really comfortable. Also her dog is the cutest thing in the world:) We would definitely recommend this to everyone!
Excellent quite location with close proximity to the beach and Sami town. Having the pool was lovely and despite use by 3 families there are loads of sunbeds etc. The BBQ area is lovely. The beach is 10 mins walk and Sami town circa 1km. The only noise are the bells of the goats
Excellent location and stay. The apartment has fantastic terrace with sea view and less than 1 minute walk from the beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby, a few good shops too. The host is very friendly and helpful. Hope to visit again in the future.
We arrived via Ferry from Ithaca and found the hotel easily accessible along the path from the main town. We had very friendly and helpful service, and we took advantage of the free parking available when we rented a car for 2 days.
There was everything that we required including sufficient provisions for breakfast.The room was a very good size and very clean, a nice balcony to sit out on, close to the Centre of Sami.This is a superb place to stay.
Everything is great. The central location with port view, the high speed internet, the comfortable bed, the friendly host. It is nice and quiet in Sami in December, and this property adds more colour to the trip.
Location was good! Staff was helpful. Sami is small but you can enjoy some good food. Good location to visit some of the most beautiful beaches of Kefalonia.
