The hotel was beautiful. The design of the room was exclusive. Everything felt robust and clean. We especially enjoyed dinners where nearly every day we could taste new foods from Greek cuisine, which were prepared exceptionally well. We also appreciated the pizza oven and the food from the grill. The staff was very welcoming—especially Dimitra, who, with her enthusiasm, introduced us to the hotel.
For the money we paid traveling out of season, we had truly wonderful week.
Village Heights Resort is situated in Hersonissos, just a step away from the Crete Golf club.

Loved the food, it was wonderful in the main restaurant and the seating areas outside were so pretty
We didn't try the upstairs restaurant Elios as the main one was just perfect
We had a birthday evening at the Lower restaurant Rhodies, it was heaven! it was out 7yo's 7th birthday so they erealy looked after us + added balloons + put candles on a cake for her! so special.
We stayed in the upper area + it was just beautiful

We chose all-inclusive + felt that that was just perfect for our break.

The kids' club was AMAZING - small and perfect, it felt boutique + not crowded and so far away from the tacky view I had of a kids club (we'd never used one before) + Anna was so good as their children's entertainer, no booking is needed just turn up and your child can come and go timing-wise.
We booked a 2-bed kitchenette (only used to make tea as all-inclusive was amazing!) and I have to say the pics do NOT do the room justice! 2 terraces! just lush.
Booking a hire car was so simple + easy breezy too at reception

The hotel us quite literally on the beachfront and the view from the room is just magnificent. The rooms, common areas, all are kept perfectly clean. The staff is very polite and always helpful with whatever issue might arise.
