It was an amazing holiday in a wonderful hotel. Cozy and clean rooms, great access to the sea, the road from the room to the sea takes 1 minute. In the backyard of the room there are sun loungers, which is very convenient, since you can relax and swim unlimitedly. Very tasty breakfast with a beautiful view. But the highlight of this hotel is the administrator Christina. She is the best! Very polite attitude and desire to make our holiday unforgettable. The attention to detail and the architecture. I care about the interior design as well and this place is beautiful, the spa pool a luxurious touch. My favourite is double expresso and here the quality is superb. They were very helpful and solved all the transfers for me at a very good price. Better arrange with them in advance. I paid 15 euros more from a taxi i took from the airport to the hotel because I didn’t know it was so much cheaper booking with the hotel in advance. The place is secluded from the noise although it is 100 metres from the beach front and many restaurants and nice souvenirs shops.

In my opinion, this is one of the best cities to relax and enjoy yourself comfortably. The beach is lined with various establishments, and in front of them are sun loungers (they cost 20 euros for the day, but you can stay for free if it’s just for a short time). There are also plenty of shops selling groceries and souvenirs. The water is great, and the beach surface is nice for walking barefoot, though it can be a bit slippery at first.

Perissa really is very nice village.
Perissa really is very nice village. It is not like in OIA or FIRA (aglomeration and spectacular view of the VULCAN), but they have a big beach and also a lot of terasses and restaurants. Hotels and supermarkets.
And the people in Perissa are very nice. Don't miss PERISSA. You will be surprised.

Taxis to and from Perissa are about 30-35 euros per trip (arranged with the villa). The taxi from the airport to the villa was 45 euros (Takes 20 mins) A trip to Kamari involves many beach bars and lovely beaches. Do not go there however if you want to see landmarks as there are hardly any unless you want to walk for miles. Thira is a beautiful place with some some great museums, churches and art galleries. It also have some of the best views you’ll see in the whole world. Cruises bring in tourists every day
There are many beach bars in Perissa and you won’t be short of places to go for food. Bobs bar is a great bar and Meltemi Bar is great for some Live music (Wednesdays and Sundays) There is also a supermarket about 100 yards away from the villa so that is perfect.
I highly recommend doing the Bus and Boat tours organised by Kamari Tours. They have a base near the beach where you can book them. Bus tour costs around 51 euros and Boat Tour 65 euros (with swimming 90 euros) I won’t going into much detail as I don’t want to spoil it but highly recommend.

Very close to beach.
Very close to beach. Many other places in Santorini are high up on cliffs and a long way from the beach.
Plenty of bars, restaurants, snack places for different budgets but everywhere seemed a lot cheaper than these other places. It was very friendly and good value.
You don't get a sunset over the sea but you can easily get a bus and head over the other side of the island a couple of times on your holiday for this. Buses everywhere seem to be around 2 - 2.5 euroes Regular buses.. Perissa itself is easy to walk around.
There is an amazing 24 hour bakery and fresh juice shop.
We walked up the hill to the church and the ruins. Great walk but go in the morning, wear trainers, take water and some money to get in the ruins. Amazing views.
Also, well worth taking snorkel to Perissa Black Beach as lots of different fish and amazing clear water.

Perissa was the best beach we visited in Santorini and the best spot on the beach is right on the corner in front of the mountain. The water was clear my kids had a blast snorkeling and jumping from the rocks to the water plus there are a bunch of water activities you can pay for great beach in my opinion the best beach from Santorini

If you like to be close to the beach and swim in the sea...
If you like to be close to the beach and swim in the sea this is a great location however, we were disappointed we didn't spend a little more and stay closer to Oia or Fira. Generally the restaurants were good if you like traditional Greek food and the seafood was amazing however, if you like a more modern cuisine you had to go elsewhere. The best place we visited was Wet Dairies which is a must! Super cool beach club with amazing food.
with family, Perissa beach is undoubtedly the best place to be in Santorini. The hotel is very close to the beach, a multitude of restaurants, markets and water sport center (at the beach). the pool is quite good, but the sun hits the pool for a very few minutes during the day; sometimes I my daughter complained about the temperature due to cold winds.
the breakfast buffet is fair for the price.
hotel staff is super friendly and support with everything from transfer to emergency calls. thumbs up!

Petra Aqua Villa is a great base to explore Santorini. The owners/staff are friendly and always happy to help. The hotel is just a short walk from restaurants and Perissa beach. Incredibly clean and tidy rooms with a daily cleaning service. Thank you for a wondeful stay!
We like so much our stay in the hotel. Peaceful area close to the beach. Very nice girl looking after the hotel. Rooms very clean. The only downside that was a bit salty water but that's normal as we learnt for Santorini. Once again thank you so much.
