We chose this resort because it had a wonderful sandy beach area for swimming and an included water park for the kids. Because the water park is private to the resort, the lines were very short even during our peak season visit, so each day my kids had their fill within 1.5 hours, which allowed us to enjoy the beach and pools. Since the location is very remote, the all-inclusive package/meals made everything so easy. We found the food to have lots of variety and great quality. Our room was at the very back of the resort, next to the water park, but we still had sweeping sea views, and everything on the property was kept beautifully clean at times.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach and to restaurants. Parking in front of the hotel is very easy, they have plenty of space. The staff was very friendly. Good breakfast.

We love the stay at the Royal Senses - we booked two grand sea view rooms and with Hilton membership we got an upgrade to two top floor villas with big terrance and private pool. That made a great start of the trip for us! The breakfast was exceptional with lots of varieties and plenty of fresh fruits and drinks. We loved the public pools too with one heated and one saltwater pool of sea water temperature to choose from. The kids pool was nice too and properly heated in the afternoon. The staff were really helpful and kids friendly. The service we received there was beyond expectation.

Panormos is quite small town with two small beaches, lots of good restaurants, a great vineyard, Klados, in walking distance with vineyard tours and wine tasting.
The bus to Rethymno takes about 50 minutes and goes from the village every half an hour. Buy your ticket from local shops before you get on though. If you get the inter city bus from Rethymnoto /Heraklion it stops at Parnormo ,unfortunately it does not come into the village and will drop you on the hardshoulder of a busy dual carriage way to cross!

We wanted to chill out and relax on the beach, eat good food, not drive anywhere and just take everything easy and slow. Panormos was perfect for this.
An easy bus ride into Rethymnon if you fancy a much larger town, a winery that we walked to (just as well!) and a little train that took us into the hills. Wonderful :-)

Panormos is a small village, a quiet place where you can find the peace to recharge the batteries. The village is near a national main road, very simple to get to it, it has nice tavernas, especialy to have dinner on a quiet night - Fanari Taverna is a very nice place to eat, good food, medium prices.

So many good restaurants. Many people return every year, as we now do as an extra holiday.

The location and the palms trees are spectacular. Crete itself is a must see.
Breakfast is very varied. Even though you are picky, it’s impossible not to find something that you like (all kinds of omelettes and scrambled eggs, fruit, dried fruit, cookies, cereals, yogurts, cheese etc).
They also have animation shows which are nice to watch.
We also enjoyed dinner (lots of choices) and loved the fact that they had seafood. You will definitely gain some pounds before you return home (as hard as you might try).
Everything was top notch, all details taking care. It’s a dream house with a beautiful view and sunset. Perfect for 2 families, has a lot of privacy and house is big and comfortable. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable of the area. We are so glad we stay at paramus and not in rethymno, this is a very local greece town, much better than the busy and touristic rethymno.
Friendliness and hospitality of Manolis and the team is exceptional.
Quality and variety of food in the restaurant is fantastic. The best saganaki in town by far.
Location is ideal with only a short walk to the Beach Lake and Kostas Tavern, right on the beach and Dia discount supermarket.
Overall, we realy enjoyed our stay. The hotel, gardens and general landscaping are beatifull and all common areas were comfortable, spotlessly cleaned and maintained. The food served at the all inclusive restaurant was exceptional and so were all the people we met working at Iberostar.
A very beautiful hotel. You really feel like you are somewhere magical. The room, the staff, the services, everything was perfect. Very good breakfast and lunch. Lots of choices in wine. Relaxing bar with cocktails and more, music nights and smiling and friendly staff always!
The hotel is located in Panormos, Rethymno province. It is a great place to explore the western part of the island from. Our room had a small terrace/ balcony which was convenient for drying the swimsuits and beach towels. The staff was amazing, very attentive and helpful!
