Excellent location, last 20 minutes of the road to the hotel was essentially a dirt road so not many people visited this area, making it very quiet. Hotel had perfect view and the beach was a few steps from the room. The food was great as well even though slightly pricey. Room service was very convenient as well as the balcony of each room had a great view.

Otzias was the perfect base to explore the island with its own beautiful beach and two tavernas within walking distance but also only 15 minutes drive from the main harbour and marina. It was about 30 minutes drive to the main town of Ioulis which is absolutely beautiful with lovely shops cafes and restaurants to explore. You can also visit the museum and see the ancient stone lion which is just outside the town. We also made the journey to the ancient site of Karthaia which involved a long hike down to a remote beach and a donkey ride back! We had a car but there are buses and taxis available.

Otzias is peaceful and quiet with a large beach.
Otzias is peaceful and quiet with a large beach. The weather was perfect, sunny everyday and pleasant at night. Nice tavernas but no other night-life.
There aren't any local shops so always need to drive for the supermarket etc.
