It is a really nice place, 5 minutes max walking distance from the beach (where there are 2 excellent taverns + several beach bars). The beach is mixed sand and pebbles, but ok overall. There are markets (with pretty much everything you would need + local products) 1-2 minutes walk + various other shops (olive oil producer, honey, bakery) + another very good tavern on the main road. To Neos Marmaras there is a 20 minutes walk (which you would need after all the eating) to the port, the souvenir shops, any sightseeing places you would like to go to.
The pool at the hotel is nice and very clean. There are tables and chairs in the garden if you want to drink a coffee outside.

This outstanding boutique Hotel in Neos Marmaras was perfect for our stay there. The hotel location is accessible close to many restaurants and shops, there is available parking close by, the hotel common area is well decorated and pristine clean. The quality of the room is well beyond what you would normally expect. The rooms are well designed with new clean furniture, comfortable beds, well placed ample lighting, window blinds. The balcony overlooks the marina and has a sun cover available. The owner Eleni was very pleasant and helpful and the staff were there every every day keeping things clean and tidy. Marmaras is a gorgeous little town. It has numerous restorants, coffe shops, gift shops, etc. The town is very narrow and because of it, it is a bit difficult for walking but it has its natural charm.

The room was great for a 2 night stay, hostess was welcoming warm and friendly & took great care of us during our stay.
The room was stylish, clean and modern with just enough facilities for a short stay. Everything working perfectly well and the place felt calm and relaxing.
The local Ta Kymata fish & seafood restaurant was outstanding - fresh, stylish & delicious food.

Neos Marmaras was a really nice surprise for us. The city center is really great, you have a lot of places for shopping, really good tavernas/restaurants and it's a good place where you can relax after a day at the beach. The distance to the most popular beaches in Sithonia is between 30 mins - 1hour, so if you don't mind this, it's a great choice to have in mind for Sithonia.

It's a charming little town.
It's a charming little town. At the peak of the season it's too crowded. I think I would have liked it better in June when there aren't as many people. The streets are rather narrow, so when it's crowded you really notice it.
The Sweet Home hotel I stayed in is a nice place, but I can't say that so a lot of other accomodation options I saw in the town center - at least by looking at them from outside.
The Neos Marmaras beach is a better option than Paradisos beach in my opinion. You have a few beach bars to choose from. I stayed mostly at Anna Maria Beach Bar. The staff was nice, but the beach showers don't work, instead you can use a hose to wash yourself.
On the plus side, the sea was beautiful, warm and really accessible. That's probably the reason why you'll see a lot of parents with small children. So, while I'm not blown away by the beach bars, I can say that the see itself is wonderful here.
Another positive thing is the food. It's fantastic, and I ate in 8 different restaurants during my stay. I can say that all of them had tasty food options.
You can see smalls ships in the marina, and by the docs and go on a small cruise.
All in all, Neos Marmaras was a good experience, it's a lovely town but I don't think I would vise it again, simply because it's not for me. It's charming-looking, but rather steep to move around comfortably on foot, even worse by car because the streets are so narrow.
I do recommend seeing it though, but try to find accommodation near the town center or beach and avoid the steel hills.
The host Sofia is a very nice woman. She replied quickly on the booking.com chat service to co ordinate a check in time that was suitable for us and was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room and apartments in general are very clean and modern and the facilities are also to a high standard. Compared to other similar apartments I have stayed in around halkidiki it was very good value for money. Neos marmaras is a nice cosy seaside town that has a lot of charm to it and a good nightlife as well.

Very nice positioned, on a hill with view over the entire city of Neos Marmaras and amazing sunset view over Paradisos. All the rooms have sea view, so don't worry about that. Free private parking available both in front of the building and in a private locked yard nearby. The room was huge, the view is really great, the beds were comfy, it was surprinsingly quiet and well soundproofed, everything was clean. We didn't have any issues and Kali, the owner, seemed very friendly and nice.
Everything was great. The staff was friendly, good location and food. The rooms, dining area, pool and other hotel surroundings were clean. We also liked the meals schedule. We had access to good internet connection. In the evening we could use the sports playgrounds and borrow balls. There are huge pine trees on the beach, so you can easely avoid sun and there are also other beautiful beaches nearby and the town of Neos Marmaras, where you can buy lovely souvenirs.
Everything was beyond expectations. The place looks great, exactly like in the pictures. There are no other houses next to it so you have all the privacy you may need. We loved the outside shower where we could clean ourselves and not bring sand into the house. The Paradisos beach is really close, lovely beach, not too crowded. There are a few places where you can eat close by and if that's not enough there's always Neos Marmaras with plenty of choices.
All details (all kitchen equipment, coffee machines and even coffee, washing detergents, mosquito repellents, decorative candles, bbq, sunbed, shampoos etc) were considered for our comfortable stay. The rooms are very clean and the furniture is new. The location is great, it is 4-5 minutes away from the center of the city. Owners were helpful and easy to communicate with. There is a supermarket 2 minutes from accomodation. All of the beautiful beaches are in the radius of 30 km from Neos Marmaras so it is a great place to stay in Sithonia. Would highly recommend Kaplanis house for visitors, you will not be disappointed 😊
It's a beautiful apartment at the center of Neos Marmaras with enough space for a small family and a big balcony overlooking the port and the sea. It is clean, WiFi is spotless, there is even access to Netflix. The hosts were quite friendly and provided us with a welcome gift of Greek traditional products. There were also free drinks in the fridge. The beaches near Marmaras are fantastic we had a fabulous time there !
