I stayed here for one night. I really appreciated being able to check-in to my room early and to be upgraded to a suite. My room was spacious and clean but it was not entirely comfortable - more on this below. Apart from the restaurant staff, the other hotel staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed being able to easily walk to the exceptionally lovely Mylopotas Beach (it's easily accessible from the hotel) and lounge on one of the sunbeds, which was free for hotel guests. The breakfast was fine. Overall, the impression I was left with was that this definitely isn't a 4-star hotel and I wouldn't stay here again.

Spacious and modern room with a sea view, everything has been renovated recently. Huge shower and double sink bathroom. Owner was very nice and available, she was able to get us a last minute reservation to the very good restaurant next door. Nice pool area where you can buy beer or water. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Bus stop is close to the hotel.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and the room and view was an absolute dream. All of the staff were extremely kind and having breakfast delivered to your room is amazing!
This is a new hotel so there are some small missing things that could be added like hooks out an outside folding clothes hangar since the Suites have pools and there wasn’t really a spot to hang bathing suits to dry other than the chairs.

Mylopotias is full of partying young people and there is a nightclub just down the road from where we stayed so we could hear the thumping music. We didn't mind, but it did mean that from 10pm we wouldn't sit on the balcony.
Great beach, stylish restaurants esp. the sushi, not overcrowded. We kept different times vs the young crowd which meant that the beach was nearly empty in the morning and started to fill up at 2pm is. They were fun when they arrived.

The beach, mini market and restaurants were a long way from the apartments we were staying at. It was very touristy and geared up for the youth who want to party. Pay sun beds and umbrellas on the beach were expensive. Good selection of water sports in the ocean.

Far Out Club is loud for a few hours at night but dies down before 10 ish in July. It is lovely in the daytime and one place rents cabanas with 1 side plexiglas very reasonably priced. Four of us shared one. More days at the beach would have been better - wish I had skipped Athens.

The room was very nice and the location excellent in front of the beach, just to cross the road. The host, Mrs Irini was very nice and helpful. Prepared our breakfast every day and also small meals whenever needed. We really loved the place and will visit it soon again. Highly recommended.
Amongst the first guests after opening in May 2022, we were spoiled by all the staff. Extremly friendly and accomodating to us, we felt like being part of a family and not just guests. The rooms are beautifully designed and furnished, we got an upgrade to a room with private pool even... The beach Mylopotas is right infront of the hotel resort, with comfortable lounges, parasols and service at the beach. Rental car and water sports activities right next to the hotel; bus stop infront of the hotel - so what better location can you get.
Great location if you want to stay near Mylopotas Beach - only a few minutes walk down the hill to the beach. Lovely spacious apartment - we got upgraded to a room with a private pool after there was a problem with our original booking. Very clean and great having fresh linen each day. The shared pool is lovely with an amazing view over the beach. About 1.5km walk uphill to the Old Town of Ios, but there is a bus stop right outside and restaurants close by on the beach.
Loved everything about our stay at Hotel Aegeon. The family that run the hotel are so amazing & kind, they made myself and my partner feel very comfortable, even though she wasn't well when we arrived. They were very hospitable and willing to help with any questions we had, staying here was our favourite part of our Greece holiday. Pick up from port, nice pool with a bar, across from the beach, 5 minute bus from town (runs every 15-20 minutes). Was the perfect spot!
The staff were so accommodating and kind, giving us recommendations of restaurants and always checking up to see if we needed anything, the bar at the pool was fabulous and cocktails were great! The pool and our hotel room both had a stunning view and only a few minutes walk to both mylopotas and Ios town. 100/10

The best view of the island! Hotel is on the beach, downstairs is the best restaurant on the island where you can catch the best views and most delicious Greek dishes. bus station is also next to the entrance to the hotel which you take for $1.60 euros per person to the village. no need for car rental. Hotel rooms are clean, good service. just great choice for the hotel.
beautiful location on the edge of Mylopotas beach, attached to an exceptional fish tavern called Drakes. Cousins own the hotel & accommodations. Breakfast was made by George’s mom; wide variety and tasty! We went on a 4 hour boat tour through Meltemi Watersport located in the Mylopotas Beach which took us to 6 beaches, swim & snorkel. Great adventure.

Easy walking distance to the small town or, at a push, the port. Efficient hotel transfer availability or help to find a taxi (only 4 on the island). Happy, smiling, helpful staff.
The hotel is situated in a hill over Mylopotas beach with great view and far from the noise of the beach but still within walking distance. The room was a bungalow with great spaces, 1 double and one single beds fully equipped with A/C and a small kitchen. There was also a parking space for the car next to the bungalow.
Nice, clean property. Location walking distance to Mylopotas Beach. The first night we could hear music from the beach bars but all seemed to end at 1 am. The remainder of the stay was relatively quiet.

Location is great and the hotel and has the biggest parties on the island for young people in the summer. The staff is nice. Free transfer from the port. TV in the room has Netflix option. Air condition is very good. Waitresses at the eating areas are very nice and helpful.

location was perfect, bus stopped right outside the hotel, brought you to the town and the port. 15/20 min walk to the start of the beach or else the bus. the pool and pool bar was perfect, staff was lovely and very helpful. they gave us recommendations for dinner.
Island House Hotel is a beautiful Hotel with a 2min walking distance to mylopotas beach. The hotel and room were clean and nicley done up. The hosts have been very friendly and recommended us very nice restaurants. It has been a perfect location for our stay in Ios
