What a beautiful place. Our room had a balcony that looked out to sea, the room was great with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Laurent welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast is excellent and we had dinner there two nights in a row, the food is really good. We only stayed two nights but wish we'd stayed longer.

Exceptional view! Surprisingly large kitchen. Plenty of kitchen supplies available to us. It was nice that the host lived in the same building, so we could go to him when we had an issue.

Mochlos is a good place to make your base camp. You can rent a car and travel around exploring nearby beautiful scenery, beaches, tavernas and history of Crete.

Mochlos is a charming port with the ancient island of Mochlos very near. If you go to George's taverna he will take you there on his little boat for a small fee. Well worth the trip. There are a few restaurants, bars and boutique shops around a very small location.

It has not been destroyed by the tourism industry yet, I wonder how long. Nice little town right by the sea. There are rather small rocky beaches in Mochlos. Clean and warm water. Beaches without sunbeds or umbrellas but showers mostly. Excellent restaurants with local food and seafood by the beaches. The drink bars are also nice.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Excellent scenery, super hospitality and delicious varied food from a great choice of tavernas. Cafes and cocktail bars to while away an hour or two day or night. Perfect in every way. I would recommend that anyone young or old visits this delightful haven.

Mochlos is a beautiful village, it has one woodcraft shop, the guy makes amazing things from wood! One boutique with very unique clothes, and few taverns with the best food. Cooking like mama and fresh fish... yummy! It is perfect for relaxation and family vacations, and just great for romance. If you want a live place with lots of clubs etc., don’t choose this one. Just two bars with delicious cocktails.
Incredible location, perfect view with the sea on two sides of the apartment, you feel like you’re on a ship. Exceptional design and perfectly equipped with everything you need, also for a longer stay.
Menelaos is an extraordinary host. The fridge was full with drinks and food. On top he surprised us with a delicious sea food plate and a big box of small cakes, at the arrival.

Completely new and clean villa with awesome pool and wonderful view to the sea. Stylish interior and we felt directly at home. The Villa is in a quiet area and really close to the small village Mochlos. The hosts, Eleni & Giorgos, are super sympathetic and helpful. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay, so we will definitely come back and recommend it to everybody!
Everything was perfect. The villa is absolutely stunning and the view even more so! We’ve never seen such a beautifully landscaped garden and aesthetically designed villa. The little village of Mochlos is only a 5 minute walk away and has a few very cute taverns and a little market with all necessities. We had the best time at Villa Nuez and our 2-year-old daughter loved it as well! We will definitely be back.
A small cozy cottage for two situated in the mountains in an olive grove provides complete intimacy and peace. An unforgettable view of Mochlos bay and the mountains, as well as wonderful sunrises and ... the moon. Comfortably furnished cottage. In the kitchen there were basic supplies and local alcohol to start your stay. The host is very nice and can help. No wi-fi but there is good cellular coverage.
Cute little pension in Mochlos. Small rooms but very pretty and nicely renovated. Beautiful bougainvillea on the balcony. Mosquitonet was a nice touch as it means you don't need to run the aircon so much to keep the insects at bay. Some nice touches in the common area that even 5 star hotels don't have like coffee, mosquito plugs, spare this and that...
The apartment was conveniently located near the village beach/harbor. Sterei and Panagyotis, our hosts, were the kindest souls ever, always showing up with fresh fruits or vegetable from their magnificent garden, a glass of raki or homemade delicacies. If you are looking for a restful stay among heartwarming people, Mochlos Mare is just the place!
Katia has been a wonderful host and she has been so kind in explaining all that we could do around Mochlos. The location was great with a beautiful sea view on Mochlos island. And on top of this, this is a very short walk to the sea front where all the good restaurants and shops are located.

Mochlos as a setting is unbelievable. The hotel is simple, but its proximity to the waterfront restaurants is great. The little garden for breakfast was also simple, but charming. The proprietors was wonderful. We would return in a heartbeat.
