Kristina at reception was very kind and helpful. She even upgraded our room for free. The room was very clean. Unfortunately, we had four very loud teenage neighbors and couldn't really sleep two of the nights, but after they left, it was okay.

Almost every day/night there was some sort of a program/activity.
The location is close enough to good beaches.

Lovely village with sufficient dining opportunities. The beach is not exceptional, but good for having a bath. There are numerous beaches around the village in a radius of 10 km, so Metamorfosi is a strategical base for touring the upper peninsula.
For eating out I recommend the fish taverna over the harbour and the Pizzeria on the high street.

Small place but has almost everything you need from restaurants to shops and markets. The place is very peaceful and the people there are nice. The only drawback is that the beaches are not very good, but there are beautiful beaches in the surrounding area

I loved Metamorfosi - it feels quiet enough to feel calm and...
I loved Metamorfosi - it feels quiet enough to feel calm and get you relaxed but also busy enough to have things to do and explore. We stayed in Village Mare Hotel (fantastic resort!) with a very short walk to a great beach. Favourite places? The sea (I recommend taking a snorkel, the underwater life was beautiful!), Nikiti - old town (great views of the nearby hills & sea, Barcarolla bar with fantastic cocktails, great feel), and the Sunny Bay Beach bar for a craft bear and kids playground. Also the Blue Flag beach in the evening, just stars and the waves.
We went for all-inclusive so ate at Village Mare only - fantastic food selection, even for fussy little eaters.
We travelled around by taxis, I recommend booking them 24h+ in advance if you can.

Quiet small place, especially suitable for families. Taverna Vassilis is the place to eat with good food and very good service. Nektar juice bar is a nice place to have a couple of drinks just seating outside and watching the inhabitants and tourists alike having their evening stroll.

Metamorfosi is a small village but has a character.
Metamorfosi is a small village but has a character. Beaches are nothing special. Golden beach is clean, and small, with a shower and a beach bar. You have a natural shadow. The air is very pleasant because of the pines. I recommend Metamorfosi for families with small children because you have a nice park and playground for the kids. You have a couple of restaurants and coffee shops. A good starting point for visiting surrounding beautiful beaches.

We've been to the Halkidiki area many times staying on both peninsulas in many different areas but interestingly we've pretty much always been pulled toward the middle and ends of them and now we've been to Metamorfosi I'm not sure why.
This is a lovely little town that seems to have everything you need for a lovely stay. Nice places to eat and a good selection of different accommodation.
From arrival to departure, the warmth of welcome to this family hotel was wonderful. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the terrace is beautiful with a view of the pool, flowers and the sea, the pool is a good size, the pool bar well stocked, the beach at the bottom of the track is quiet and wonderful, and so it goes on... There's so much to say but it would be best for you to experience Maria's House Hotel yourself - you won't be disappointed. Thank you Natasa and family for giving us a great first taste of Chalkidiki.
The room was cosy, the bed was comfortable, the food was very good and the variety excellent. We got a room far from the pool and from the reception area, so it was very quiet as well. The cleaning was irreproachable and the personnel were wonderful. The parking area is large enough and we never had any problems in finding a parking place (we highly recommend having a car in order to enjoy the beauty of Sithonia). We highly recommend Blue Dolphin and we will likely be back.
Beautiful small beaches nearby. Calm area. Balcony has a stunning view. While my mobile internet was interrupting, the Internet in the flat was good enough for online meetings. The village nearby has nice restaurants, that always has a free table (compared to other places in Greece at this time of the year this season , that is really a big plus :) ). I was happy to find out that that even fruit sellers accept card payments.
This hotel is great. The pool and garden are beautiful and well kept. There is a lovely private beach touching the hotel with free sunbeds and umbrellas. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with clean bathroom and powerful shower. And the family running the hotel are very friendly and helpful. It was a perfect stay. Thank you Natasa and family. Good choice for the price, we were in junior suite and it’s spacious and comfortable. Tv is really big and wifi is surprisingly good! Rooms and hotel space inside/outside are very clean. Best impression on us left the staff - kind, friendly, always around when you need them (at the restaurant), always smiling and ready to help.
Excellent and comfortable stay: modern amenities, great location within a small chic village, perfect to explore Sithonia and other attractions. The hotel manager, Christina, is fantastic 😀 she made our stay memorable. Complimentary coffee and snacks are served each morning in the hotel lobby.
Great hotel, very friendly and warm owner & staff, attentive and great tips about the environment and activities!! Very thoughtful and helping whenever they can! Breakfast and dinner was diverse and tasty! Pool and room were great! Would very much recommend it! Lovely place!

We had a great stay in the hotel. It is right next to the beach where you can have free sunbeds and umbrella. The room was cleaned every day, the staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. Our baby loved the mini disco 🙂It is a perfect choice for a family vacation.

Magnificent gardens , simple but clean rooms with big balcony , tasty homemade food ! Very cosy hotel with in handy location to explore Sithonia. The pool also was a highlight , the water was crystal clear and the pool bar had super cocktails !
