We used the Philippos Hotel as a stopping point on the way to the north.
The location is ideal, with easy access to the port and shopping. Car parking was free, although the hotel has three parking bays right outside, but all were taken.
Thanassis was on duty that evening, and Katerina the next morning, and both were friendly and knowledgeable, with excellent English.

The bed was great, and the location was perfect. After walking all day in the villages of mt. Pelion, the room was a perfect welcome to the city of Volos
