The town was lovely. Friendly people. Would recommend going during peak times if you want to explore more of the town. Most things are not available during April. I wanted to do the 3island tour but went off peak time so that was not available. The town is lovely you can walk around everywhere. Don’t book transfer take the local bus it’s 3.50euros. A lot cheaper. Transfer from hotel is a rip off. The cabs do take card out there as well. Defo go to the hamam aretmis that was really good.

Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination.
Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination. If you are looking to do the three Islands cruise in 1 day, do it, but book down at the harbour rather through an agent or your hotel. Rather than paying 38 Euros per person, we got it for 20 Euros.
We received some great restaurant recommendations from the wonderful staff at the Diamond Boutique Hotel. We found the best restaurants were a couple streets back from the harbour restaurants.

There are a lot of interesting ancient sites and monuments (greek, roman and medieval).
It was very pleasant cycling along the coast to Tigaki beach (with hire bikes) for sunbathing and a leisurely lunch and then around the salt lake, to see the small flock of flamingos in residence there.
The town itself is a very popular tourist spot for families with lots of facilities.

Kos town at night was lovely.
Kos town at night was lovely.
Lots of ancient sites to see. but quite a few recommendations in our guide book (2022) are closed
The Mosque in the main square is fenced off and looks as if it has been that way for quite some time. The area around Hippocrates Tree is also fenced off and almost derelict which was a shame.
Good restaurants away from harbour, especially Iannos, and Ali.

Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see.
Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see. Lots of bars/cafes and quaint shops. Love the tree lined streets. The harbour is lovely…. especially feeding the fish! Many boat trips available to other islands and ferries to Turkey. Long promenade ….. walked from Kos to Psalidi. Enjoyed the vibe as visited in October so probably not as busy as high season. Fairly flat so easy to access for anyone with mobility issues. Many and varied places to eat.

It is a very beautiful city where history, sun, sea and good food come together. It is very close to Turkey and can be easily visited. If planned well, you can easily go anywhere on the island by public buses. Especially Zia and Asklepion should be seen.
We are a family of six and our kids are from 7 - 17 years old and they all really enjoyed the hotel. The food was surprisingly good for all inclusive and there was plenty of choice every day. We also had no problem getting sun loungers at the pool even on days we were up a bit later. The staff were really friendly and the entertainment was fun in the evenings. There is a bus stop that goes to Kos town which takes 10 minutes. You can book car hire from the hotel and they drop it to the hotel for you which was handy.
Excellent simple traditional hotel close to the centre of Kos town but quiet at night. I reckon the simplicity and humane friendly service is worth more than multi star spots round the corner. A good basic stopover for ferry hopping or yachties. Would be lovely with kids too as it's a short walk to the beach but not a sausage and chips seaside joint. A bit 1980s and all the better for it. We stayed one night and (against all expectations) would have happily stayed longer.
Great staff, great facility, near the beach. Not so near the city center, but we rented some bicikles near the hotel and cicled to the centre. It was quiet, so you could enjoy morning breakfast or dinner in the evening. Aroud the facility the chickens are walking freely, so we had a feeling like we were at home. You can have a drink at the snack bar, swim in the pool area or play the billard. Even if you don't go anywhere, you can still find some things to do.
The location is fantastic, a 5-minute walk to the beach and the sea, near the best beach bar Mylos. The hotel is great, the room is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too. You made our anniversary so special and unforgettable from the moment we walked in at the reception, to the warm greeting in the restaurant, and finally to our room where our towels were folded differently daily (swans, hearts...). Thank you Apollon Hotel!
The Service level with almost hit excellence level and worth a 5 stars hotel. Meanwhile you are in all inclusive hotel with thousands of customers, the staff at all level are disposed and bring you a rarely expected service level.
Bedrooms are great with excellent beds comfort.
The hotel bedrooms are excellents and even if meal times are crowded, the food and verity is very good.
Due to the difficulties hotel facing in the tourist industry and the uncertainty of travelers and low occupancy rate at Diamond Boutique, we have received upgrade to 5 star property - Diamond Deluxe Hotel. Luxury hotel with great facilities, personel, great restaurant, big two level pool area, where you feel like in island of paradise.
It's a simple cheapish hotel as evident from the description. We stayed in the "loft" on the topmost floor which sleeps three people. Many stairs, no elevator, recently repainted, hard beds (as common in Greece), efficient A/C directed not to blow on anybody's face. No luxury, but OK for a short stay in town.
the food was great, especially the vegetable dishes which were very creative and tasty.Great value for money as an all inclusive. The staff were very pleasant and polite. The bus stop to Kos town was a 2 minute walk.Peaceful countryside location but only a 10 minute bus ride to town. The room was soundproof.
The location is great, the views are stunning, it's right in the centre of Kos town, the staff are nice and the breakfast food is fresh and varied.
The hotel gas a modern vibe and the rooms are cleaned daily.
He food in the restaurant is very good!
The location of the hotel is perfect. Its reachable by walk from the city centre, surrounded with few nice and cozy restaurants and also the beach is just 10 mins by walk. They also provide free breakfast, which is not the best but worth it!
This hotel is set in a quiet location but still near all Kos Town's attractions. Fantastic value for money and the breakfast was very nice. The towels were the softest during my stay on this holiday, and I stayed in 4 other hotels.
The hotel has undergone renovation recently. We stayed in a suite which was nicely decorated and comfortable. Although the hotel is a bit removed from the city center, it is still within a reasonable walking distance.
Gorgeous property on the waterfront. The views from the room and breakfast area are breathtaking. The location is perfect, right in Kos town. the rooms are beautiful and perfectly clean.
Located at a prime location in Kos town. Main beaches at walking distance with good restaurants and bars around the locality. Very friendly and helpful staff. Value for money.
We really liked the place and the helpfulness and friendliness of the owner and the staff. The city centre is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, so it is quote close.
Everything is excellent. Next summer I will visit with my wife without any delay. Everybody helpfull and always smile. Hotel's location near everywhere in centre.
The beds were very comfortable & it was nice to use the gym. Separate shower and rain shower was nice. Also easy to park and easy access to Kos town by walking.
