I had no expectations from a place I have never been and have heard very little about Komotini. I was pleasantly surprised. A vibrant downtown with lots of cafes, eateries, shopping all reasonably priced and good quality.

I had the chance to visit family and to see a very nice town...
I had the chance to visit family and to see a very nice town. I enjoyed the view of the mountains that border Bulgaria, the pedestrian malls, the beautiful murals, the architecture, the churches and the mosques that are so much a part of Komotini. Worth a stop for a few days even if you don't know anyone in this town.
This is our preferred accommodation whenever we stop by Komotini be it for work, or leisure. The apartment is excellent as for short term as for long term stay. It has all necessary and the parking spot in the yard plus its proximity to the downtown (walking distance) and stores for food (by car) makes it the best in the area. With the renovations recently done it also has fresh look and feeling.
Saint George Rooms is a very nice hotel. I can give it a very positive recommendation. Konstadina, the receptionist and manager, is very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and quiet. It is in a good location, about a five minute walk from the center of town. The breakfast offers a good variety of food. And the beds are quite comfortable.
The hotel looks very beautiful with flowers and trees in front. Its own parking space in the garden was sufficient. It was within walking distance of the city. The elevator was a great convenience for the elderly and suitcases. Hotel staff was polite. We liked the decoration of the lobby.

The apartment was clean, the location really good and the host friendly. Overall it's a great place at fair value to stay in Komotini. Near the center of the city with many pubs around and a great Mpougatsa shop just around the corner.
The hotel is very well located in the city center, so it is very easy to eat or drink when you check in at night.
With a classic interior, the room is very comfortable, cozy and quite. I definitely recommend.

The position is great, very close to highway if you travel around Greece. The restaurant within the hotel is very good and prices are totally affordable. Great the private parking too!
