Everything! Every detail here invites you to slow down and relax. The view of the sea is amazing (don’t miss sunrise). There is a beautiful , clear blue, small beach with chairs and umbrellas just steps away as well as a large pool. Excellent service (also at the beach and pool) and all the staff had a keen eye for details and service. I enjoyed the exceptional local Naxian food and organic wines at their restaurant. The fishing village of Moutsouna is a short walk away and other beaches are only a few minutes drive away. But you don’t ever need to leave here- It’s a very welcoming and calm vibe where I just didn’t want to leave. I cannot say enough to thank Eirini and her team for creating the perfect place to get away and relax. I will definitely return.

Helen is a wonderful host and really wants you to enjoy your stay and the surrounding area. She is passionate about her hotel's sustainability record and that's is commendable. The location, outlook, room and facilities were excellent - used the pool, gym and restaurant. Helen is a feeder - breakfast and dinner will set you up well!

The room was perfect for me and my friend. Our host was kind and helpful. The apartment was equipped with all the essentials plus some thoughtful extras. Georgia very graciously offered us a late check-out on our departure day because it was raining. That was a lovely gesture.

The property is in a wonderful location in Filoti, raised up above the town with superb views of the mountains and surrounding valley. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and gave lots of recommendations of things to do and see prior to our arrival. The terrace is very spacious and a wonderful place to relax on an evening in a very peaceful neighbourhood. The bedrooms are extemely comfortable and the property has all of the facilities you could need. The owners also arranged for us to be collected with our luggage from the centre of town on arrival and back again on our departure. A very unique property that offers great value.

The location is very convenient in the center of Filoti, very close to the bus station, a small grocery store and a lot of restaurants. It's a great starting point for hiking tours to neighboring villages or into the mountains. Checkin and checkout were quick and uncomplicated. The tiny kitchen provides helpful basics and the fridge is large.

Excellent breakfast. Lovely staff. Great room with fantastic shower.
Kanakis is on the otherside of the island from the main port...
Kanakis is on the otherside of the island from the main port and city of Naxos. You drive through high, hilly, narrow roads to get there. There are very sharp turns and you have to be a very alert driver. Tour buses can't fit on the roads, so fewer tourists venture this far. For those who do, you will find it a more rugged, isolated landscape with far less to do, but great beauty to experience. We found the peaceful way of life refreshing and peaceful. We enjoyed the mt villages of Filoti and Apeiranthos and ate most of our meals at the fishing village of Moutsouna. If you like fish, it doesn't get any fresher than eating at one of the outdoor restaurants right on the bay. There are some lovely beaches on this side of the island and we had the entire beach to ourselves in Kanakis.
