This was the perfect vacation at this lovely resort. The resort is about 1h drive from Rhodos town.We arrived late in the night and they have arranged the room specialy because they knew we are coming for a special reason. There was also wine, clod plate food and fruit to welcom us. We had a swim up room and it was gorgeus.Perfectly clean, very comfortable bed, nice view of the sea...just perfect. The food is great, really tasty with lots of varieties,vegan,regular..everything. Every evening there are a couple of varieties of pork, chicken, vegi manu, sea food, fresh fruit and at least 15 different deserts. The breakfsts is the same every day but it has so many good choices that there is no way to not find something different every day.Fresh juice, nice coffie and all that with a perfect view of the sea.And the food never runs out,the personeel from the kitchen is constantly watching and constantly refilling. For my husband's birthday they sent a bottle of vine again and a nice small cake with happy birthday on it.We were amaised. And they also sent him a gift from the spa collection. The employees are very kind and the salute you every time. Here a special thanks to Veroniky from the waitresses, just a wonderfull person and the girl at the small reception compjuter that gave us informations on where to go and what to visit. During breakfast and dinner there is a discreet piano or violin player that plays nice music. You can just sit enjoy the wonderful view, nice atmosphere and wonderful food. The resort is very big, goor maintained with wonderfull pools.By the pool there is mainly a DJ that plays nice misic.
We had a wonderful time and we will be back here for sure!!!Big thanks for the menagement and all the people that work there! You have made our stay unforgetable!

Gennadi is an adorable small village featuring a handful of delightful restaurants, a bakery, and a small grocery store. It enjoys a convenient location, with short driving distances to neighboring villages and cities – just 10 minutes to Kiotari and 30 minutes to Lindos. The journey to Rhodes Old Town takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car. If you prefer tranquil, less touristy destinations, Gennadi is an excellent choice.

Best beaches in the whole of Rhodes.
Best beaches in the whole of Rhodes. Since the winds are usually blowing from north/west and Gennadi is situated on the southeast coast the place is less windy. The beach is really long and has pebbles, so you don't get sand everywhere.
There is a really nice beach front bar/restaurant called Sposa del Sol. Their signature drink Sposa del Sol is super good. They have beach front sunbeds and sofas for their clients.
Along the beach there is also another really nice restaurant Klimis, with nice homemade food. Best fried vegetables are found here.
In the village of Gennadi there are a lot of very good restaurants. At least Mama and Zorbas have superb Greek traditional foods. I am sure there are many more good ones also, we just did not have time to visit them all.
Gennadi is cheaper and more genuine than the old town of Rhodes and Lindos, and it is a more tranquil place.
One of the nicest places that we have visited in Greece.
It is recommended to rent a car - it will give you so much more freedom and easy. But there is also a bus.

A large village / small town with a good selection of bars, restaurants, a green grocer, excellent bakery, and reasonable supermarket. South of here, things become increasingly spartan, whilst northwards they are increasingly touristy, so strikes a good balance between practicality and traditional feel.
Set back about 250m from the beach, with some very nice properties available to rent, some with pools.
Has a good local feel to it, with plenty of local people around, not just tourists.
Food prices generally good - a large, whole, grilled fish for 18 euros at Zorba's Tavern, for example, or a very fat gyros with pork for 3 euros at Bessa's Corner. Some restaurants push Italian pizza and pasta as well as Greek traditions, with one or two feeling more traditional (e.g. goat stew or excellent moussaka at Sergio's Old Times). Some offer take out and delivery service too if you are outside the village (e.g. Bessa's Corner can deliver all sorts of grills and gyros).
At the back of the village is a small church, with a pleasant walk through a green way to the graveyard and valley behind.
Bus stop by the pharmacy on the main road, with easy access to Lindos (2.70 one way), Rhodes (7.20 one way) and other places. Car and scooter hire available in the village itself too.

We love Gennadi. It has some lovely restuarants .
We love Gennadi. It has some lovely restuarants . Fully recommend going to Mammas but you need to book as gets very busy, food is great. The town itself is very pretty and at night they close down the main street and all the restaurants bring their tables out. Greek dance happens at night in the street also. Gennadi has everything you need a small supermarket, bakery, greengrocers and is very close to the beach. The beach is very pebbley so take some beach shoes with you

Gennadi is a lively little place and as yet not over developed. The village is friendly, charming and has everything you need for a week self catering.
Highly recommend restaurants in Gennadi - Mana’s Kitchen and Zorbas. For ice cream and sweet treats go to the South Bakery.
I’d recommend visiting both Rhodes Town and Lindos (the bus stop is 1 minute from the property).
The beach is shingle and pebbles. It is a wide ‘bay’ but we preferred to use our pool rather than go to the beach.

Gennadi is a lovely village to visit.
Gennadi is a lovely village to visit. Tourists are well catered for but the village is not overly touristy which is a plus. There is a good, cheap bus service to Lindos and Rhodes Town although this is much slower than driving. Ginnardi has a gorgeous beach which is very quiet but with some tavernas, a beach bar and sun loungers available. It exceeded my expectations
A perfect resort for both families and couples.
The hotel area spreads out and feels spacious. Beautiful quiet beach. The hotel and room facilities are very good and everything is well maintained and very clean.
Many options for dining and the private restaurants are significantly better (booking in advance is recommended).
Above all, all the Hotel staff (George and the other reception staff, bar, restaurant and maids) are kind, welcoming
and helpful with any request.
We will definitely return.
A beautiful property located in a serene place, few minutes from Gennadi village as well as the beach.
But the hospitality of this place is Maria at the front desk who was professional & kind during the check in & check out procedure of mine, even though she was there since 0400 (that I arrived) & I met her again @ 1400 (when I departed).
Maria is the meaning of Greek word 'filoxenia' in this Hotel!
The hotel is great, there are countless pools everywhere and good vibes. The hotel is very clean, the food is good with too many options in every meal.
George from the senior staff was super nice and helpful to us. We had a special situation with specific circumstances and he made many exceptions to try to help us with them, and also was checking on us all the time. We really appreciate it.
The location is far from the central city Rhodes (about an hour drive) but for those interested in a romantic and quiet vacation it is perfect - close to Lindos and you can travel a lot in the area (it is advisable to rent a car). The level of maintenance is high, the hotel is gorgeous, the breakfast was good and fresh and the staff is charming. We had the best time and highly recommend.
The villas are perfect for a family, very tidy and clean. Costa made sure we had everything we need (including a wonderful welcome basket) and was always willing to help. The location of the villas is right next to Gennadi beach- a beautiful and quiet beach which is perfect for bathing and watching the sunset. The village is a 10 minutes walk away and has very good restaurants.
Overall the stay was lovely. The host was lovely and easy stay in touch with. She was helpful and provided some good tips. The villa is well located, 2 minutes walk to the local beach and 5mins drive to the local village. The was clean and is spread across two floors with kitchen, bathroom and living room, GF & L1 Terrace. There is AC in every space, which was amazing.
From the moment we arrived, Gennadi Grand Resort made us feel like VIPs. The 24-hour front desk ensured all our needs were met promptly and with a smile. The on-site restaurant offered delectable dishes, and the option for room service was a convenient touch. With its prime location, luxurious amenities, and exceptional service, this resort exceeded all our expectations.
Breakfast was fine always fresh Location is quiet and a ten minute walk to a pebble beach surf shoes are a must the water is crystal clear plenty of taverns on beach gennadi town has a number of restaurants all good the bus stop going to lindos in 5 minutes walk from hotel from lindos you can get a bus to anywhere on island and is good value for money
The apartment was spacious and very clean. Despite being a 1 bedroom there were 2 balconies. both with a table and chairs. Gennardi Court is small and quiet. The pool is lovely and was usually empty. It is just a couple of minutes walk into Gennardi for a good selection of restaurants and also near the beach.
Cannot understand people, who put negative comments. Owners and staff are very very nice and helpful. Hotel is not five star, although room was redecorated, clean and well equipped. Gennadi is also very nice village, not crowded, with calm beach and some authentic taverns. Highly recommended.
Close to Gennadi city center, close to beach and local restaurants. Quiet place with a great sea view. Pool is great and comfortable. Owners offer help in all things and take care of our whole stay. If you want to go windsurfing - Prasonisi is a 25 min ride.
Hotel located in an amazing spot, near by the sea. Employees were professional, hospitable and kind. Superb and very clean suite, in good price and with mannerly housekeeping. 100% recommendation by me without hesitate.
small and cozy hotel with wonderful staff who made our stay at the hotel very special. we loved the outdoor area for eating and the beach that was in few minutes walking distance
Amazing fully equipped apartment in Gennadi. Close to the village centre. Quiet area with an amazing scenery. All the rooms are named after gemstones, which I really liked.
Beautiful quiet location and lots of shaded areas to escape the sun at its strongest. A 10 minute stroll to the beach with clear water and gentle waves.
