This hotel is in the most incredible location on the west coast of Santorini with amazing views over the caldera. It is also decorated to a very high standard and the staff are very helpful. Lots of steps though so not for anyone with limited mobility.

Rooms are typical cave type rooms new renovated with windows at the ocean. We had a terrace few steps away from our room with beautiful sun-set view. The staff is extremely friendly, very helpful and breakfast were excellent. The hotel has a great location - it is located in the town which has everything you need and is very quiet in comparison to towns like Fira (15 min walk) or Oia. We rented a scooter and visited everything we wanted and everything was close. We definitely recommend the hotel.

There was everything to like and MORE. From the moment of our arrival Dimitris was more than helpful with information on trips, tours and restuarents all of which we tried and were excellent.The staff in hotel were amazing nothing was too much trouble.Fiorel at breakfeast was always so pleasent in the mornings. Tamara our room attendant was Simply the best not great english but could communicate and she is beautiful !

We took ages to find this amazing hotel to stay and it was not only the amazing photos, but the reviews did all the talking and this place far exceeded every expectation we had! George the Manager is a one off!! He is fantastic, such a people person, takes so much time and has a wealth of knowledge! Every single member of staff are all amazing. Monji greeted us and showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know with such compassion and love for his job. When we saw our room... Well... it bought a tear to our eyes (both of us!!)
It was exquisite! We stayed in The House of Nureyev because it had it's own private balcony. Oh my goodness the view is too amazing for words! It has its own sunbeds and table and chairs to dine. We saw the most amazing sunset from the comfort of our own balcony with no crowds! The whole suite is so fantastic with gorgeous antiques, beautifully cool and extremely clean and comfy!!
The food it absolutely gorgeous and very fresh using the finest ingredients.

We stayed in Santorini for 8 days whichw as too long. We did a trip to Crete for only 4 days and should have switched that around as Crete is a much bigger island with more to do.
In Santorini we booked taxis ahead of time for transfers and we ended up catching buses in between which was much cheaper and more fun!
Weather in October was nice but chilly in the evenings.

You never needed to travel for the Sunset while staying at FIROSTFANI! It was the best spot for photos. The restaurants were all equally amazing especially with the views of the caldera. Getting around was not a problem if you wanted to take the bus or catch a taxi. The month of September was pretty perfect since you did not need to deal with all the hustle and bustle of the tourists.

We stayed here in Firostefani for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Firostefani is the perfect town to stay at in Santorini imo. It isn't crowded like Fira or Oia. It's not too quiet like Imerovigli either. It has some shops and restaurants, but nothing too busy or noisy.

A really central location with terrific caldera views! Depending on where you stay, there are some places In Firostefani that require fewer steps to navigate compared to other locations along the caldera. There are also some great restaurants at reasonable prices.

I really do not like Firostefani any more.
I really do not like Firostefani any more. I have been there 3 times, the first time in 2005 when I really loved it. The second time, in 2015, I still liked it, however, I would not go back there any more. Too many tourists. Five huge cruise liners would drop off their passengers each day and, together with the tourists staying on the island it became a bit of a nightmare. We did travel throughout the entire island with a hire car, which was great, and also undertook a an afternoon cruise on a yacht, which was fantastic.
The location, the view, the breakfast, the people - everything was perfect! The front desk was very knowledgable about the area and gave excellent suggestions and also helped in arranging a self drive car for us. The breakfast was brought to our room promptly every morning and was very good in quality and presentation both. The area is very close to Fira and around the hotel are a number of great restaurants. The view from our room was the best view of the sunset you can get in Santorini.
Upon arrival we got a detailed introduction about the main attractions and information about Santorini. We even got a bus plan and information about how to get to the places and how much it would cost. This enabled us to spend our holiday enjoying and not planning!
The people were very kind and helpful with any problems or questions.
There’s also a decorated terrace with various sitting possibilities to eat outside for example.
I would definitely recommend this Hotel!
The best is the wonderful treat of Nikos and Eva. They make feel you as a beloved friend. Perfect place for a very good price in expensive santorini, placed in Firostefani 14 min walking to center of fira for take buses for going everywhere in the island, very near the fantastic view with the 3 bells church. The big terrace where to eat with the view to the sea is so nice, u can enjoy the sunrise in the sea from the apartment, just very good
Our room (the deluxe suite) was amazing!!! The sea views from the room and private terrace are absolutely breathtaking and it’s the best place to see the amazing Santorini sunsets. The staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful. Location is also perfect, right in the middle of town, but quiet at all times. Loved having breakfast in our bathrobes on the terrace ;) This hotel deserves 5 stars! Wish we could have stayed longer!
Chic hotel is like a puzzle piece nested among other properties like most of this area. I liked how private our room
was with a super comfortable bed and suite. Breakfast is served on your balcony since no common dining area. Again very private. view is stunning. Staff always present and Fay at reception was knowledgeable friendly and so helpful. although expensive, no regrets. A wonderful few days on Santorini
The view from our balcony was absolutely amazing and the style of the hotel made it a truly Santorini experience. We watched the sunset sitting on our balcony (no need to be with the crowds to see the sunset). The breakfast was fantastic and great care was taken by the very friendly and accommodating owners and staff to make sure we were comfortable and our needs were met. This hotel was a true 10 in all categories.

Literally, a breathtaking view from your window to the Caldera. You don’t need to reserve any restaurant or cafe to watch the sunset, the best place to watch the sunset is in the hotel terrace. The view was marvellous with the caldera. The breakfast was awesome with the 2 pakistani staff, very kind and helpful. The location, firostefanie was a bit far from fira, but you have the bus every 30 mins or 15 mins walk to the centre. The only hic was the wind, it was extremely windy in Santorini but this does not count to the beauty of the hotel.
Great location, very few steps up to firostefani, Zoe was incredible, so helpful and friendly, Yanni was awesome - "strongest man in santorini!", Newly renovated suites are beautiful, very comfortable and private. Mini-pool/jacuzzi was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
The staffs are superb and friendly. The hotel comes with beautiful view of Santorini, it's quiet and you could relax and take in the view. The hotel is in middle of 2 town, which you could walk or take a bus to go another part of Santorini (it's not expensive and it's easy to get there).
We loved our stay at Aerino Villa. Flora and her staff are absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. The breakfasts are fabulous, the location is prime and we would absolutely book Aerino Villa anytime we return to Santorini.
