Especially after the crowds in the north of Corfu and the mega hotels around the beaches here, we really appreciated the quiet, pastoral setting of the Stars. Our room was modest and fairly small with a balcony, but we did a last minute booking & were pleased to get in. As Emily said, “you’ll sleep well here” & we did. The breakfast array is plentiful & good, especially the coffee & homemade items. But it’s the dinner meal you want to make sure you take here. Don’t request the stereotypical offerings that are available everywhere: The specials each night, and the Greek meals, are plate licking delicious. And Kosta can whip up some good cocktails and wine for you when you describe what you want. We enjoyed watching the pleasure the kids were having in the pool but usually had spent too much time at the beach to want to use the pool ourselves. Love the parking situation.

It was great to have a swimming pool, a small private beach and a couple hotel restaurants, as the hotel itself was quite far from civilization. The signature carrot cake definitely left an impression too, so did the staff who were all extremely kind (especially at all the restaurants and breakfast area). Only on the last night we found out that you (probably) don't need a booking to go to the rooftop bar for a drink - recommend to try it out as it has great views :)

Boukari ist really beautiful and for a few days there are many things to do. But it does come to a point where you want more civilisation back. So we stayed 3 days and enjoyed every of them and could have stayed 1-2 days longer without any problems

A lovely fishing village on the Ionion Sea with an impressive choice of restaurants, all with sea views - some on the shoreside itself.
Narrow roads but plenty of parking in the village centre.
The beaches on this side of the island are not as impressive as those on the west (Aegean Sea), but they are absolutely fine for simple bathing and safe for families with young children.
The Boukari Beach Seafood Taverna and the Kalami Beach Taverna are both worthy of praise for their food and friendly welcome.
A great spot for two or three nights at either end of your holiday in Corfu.

The village of Boukari is about 40 minutes drive south of the town of Corfu. It is a quiet and still authentic place on the southeast coast that has not been invaded by tourists (yet and particularly in April). There are few hotels and a few restaurants directly on the water. I particularly recommend the Kalami Beach and the Boukari Beach Fish Taverna. Don't hesitate to rent a car to get away from it all during your stay but this base camp is ideal.

Quiet, friendly, beautiful place, where you can also see the sunset and the sunrise. Akriogiali is a family restaurant, where is the best fish in Europe. I liked the narrow winding road, near to the sea, and leanders and olive trees.

The beaches are good, the local fish restaurants are super, I absolutely recommend the Boukari Beach Restarurant. But staying too long in this exact area is boring, I recommend traveling around Corfu.
All of the rooms had a balcony with a view of the ocean, along with a screen which meant you could leave the French windows open without having to worry about bugs entering the room. It also meant you could hear the ocean waves, whilst drifting off to sleep.
It is a very quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of Corfu.
Definitely agree with other guests who rated it a 4 star hotel, rather than a 3 star hotel. In fact we loved it so much that we are already planning our 2nd trip at The Golden Sunset.

Lovely studio with a garden and a one minute walk to the sea if you even want to call it a walk. Aristea and her mother Anna were so helpful and welcoming. A place to relax and enjoy the sea and nearby villages, which was what we wanted when coming to Corfu.
During our trip we stayed in 3 different accommodations across Corfu and this was our favorite by far even though the others were lovely as well.
I would for sure stay here again during my next visit to Corfu :)
When I was looking for accomodation in Corfu I wanted to find studio close to sea in not crowded area with view that I could enjoy from sunrise till sunset. Villa Boukari Beach met all my expectation. Cosy, well equipped studio, balcony with fantastic view, 20 m to a beach, which was not crowded and restaurant run by the same family with amazing food. On top of it help with transfer from and to airport and car rental. I loved this place and will come back for sure once I.am back to Corfu Island.
Theo and his sister were great hosts! The place is easy to find we rented a scooter at the airport it took us about 40 mins to get to the apartment amazing road next to the beach! The room is perfect and in the kitchen you have everything you need for a longer stay! Room were cleaned even after a might stay! We got all recommendations where to eat where to go! We went to eat every night to Akrogiali fish taverna! The view was spectacular! 10/10 for sure we will be back soon!
We love the location, the views from window and balcony, and the friendliness of the hosts. We also love the fact that the property was really well kept. It was surrounded by beautiful olive, grape and pomegranate trees. Every evening we enjoyed the smell of jasmine. The supermarket and several restaurants were easily accessible. The beach is located right in front of the property.
Our stay was excellent. The owners and staff were very professional and gracious. They will arrange transfers from Corfu airport with advance call or message. The food in the restaurant was excellent with authentic Greek dishes.
The hotel is 15 meters from the beach with a huge freshwater pool. It is family run with <20 units and has a very comfortable and relaxing feeling.
Beautiful, quiet location with nicely updated accommodations in a small building with ocean views and a nearly private beach directly across the street. We shared the beach and 80 degree Fahrenheit water with no more than a dozen others. Costas is a very friendly, gracious host and does speak English. We were very pleased to end our trip to Greece at Alexandra Villas!

The scenery is absolutely stunning we could see the sea, the mainland and even Corfu town from our balcony and the entire place is surrounded by gorgeous trees and all sorts of other plants and flowers.

The location was very nice, just in front of the beach and with umbrellas and sunbeds available for the guests. The hosts were very nice, we had the opportunity to stay a bit longer and the day we were leaving and they were super flexible to make everything easier. We also had a dinner in the connected restaurant and the food was very good.
We enjoyed our stay in the very nice, spacious apartment, which has a wonderful terrace with a nice view of the ocean. The apartment is located near the beautiful beach of Boukaris, where there are some restaurants with delicious seafood. The hosts were wonderful, warm hearted and made us feel at home. We hope that we can come back soon!

Everything was great. Staff and the owner was very polite, and the hotel was very clean! A beautiful hotel in a beautiful little village. Great location with a beautiful seaview at the 1st floor rooms and only a few steps from the sea. Highly recommended. We will visit u again for sure!
