From check in to check out, the Hotel Contessina was amazing. Polite and accommodating staff were everywhere, including the cleaning folks, bartenders, pool staff, check in desk, and servers. Everyone went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable.
The rooms were spacious and the AC went to a cool level, which we loved after those hot days. The showers were large with rain shower and a powerful handheld jet, if you liked that option.
Each evening, turn down service was exceptional and the fruit or sweet plate hit the spot.
The most surprising and touching part of it all was the parting gift we were given during our check out. It was a bottle of olive oil and two jars of marmalade from the Contessina farm. A handwritten note thanking us for our stay with them seemed out of place in that it felt we should be giving them a gift for all the warm hospitality.
The only knock is really the town itself, which is a matter of my personal opinion. The good is that the ATV rental place is right across the street so, if you're into that, it was very convenient. The town itself felt a bit like Cabo on spring break. Many bars and cheesy places to go to. The restaurants weren't that unique and many had the same menu items. We didn't venture much out of the hotel and it's, by far, the best property anywhere close to where it's located. Decent walk to a very crowded beach.
Overall, an amazing place to stay in Zakynthos!

I love this resort, lots of shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment, beautiful beach, lovely people, easy to and from airport, short trip. Been here 3 times now because i love it. My favourite bar is Paradise cocktail bar, they put so much effort into making you welcome and as a lone traveller, this was so important for me. I dodnt have a favourite restaurant, I ate in a few as like to try places and all the food was good.

Tsilivi is a very busy resort it is on a very busy road with lots of shops and restaurants. The road runs the length of the resort with lorries coaches etc .
However it has beautiful bays and beaches lovely swimming places . I would recommend staying off the main road if you don't like traffic noise.
There are plenty of restaurants cocktail bars etc
It is quite expensive and average meal around ,30 euro and a sunbed on beach 15 no longer cheap place to stay.

Really cute city, its nice choice if you go with partner or kids. Also good location if you are a someone who wants to explore island, good start point. It has nice beach with beautiful water.
There are a lot of restaurants and every restaurant is special on their way. It has a golf park its real fun and you should go check it. About prices in restaurants for example Mousaka (traditional greek food) price goes from 10-14 euros. Bus that can take you to Zakynthos city 1.60. From airport zakyntos price is 2 euro. Taxi to airport is 25-28 euros. I would recommend if you like wines you should always check their local wines they are pure gold(about price 4-7eur for 500ml)
Perfect spot for extended family vacation! Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Communication was prompt and to the point. The owner helped us with suggestions for the best beach for kids (4 minute drive) best places to eat in Tsilivi. House cleaned mid-stay (after 3 days), towels and sheets changed. They even brought a huge box of Greek treats from a very good bakery near Zante.
Everyone was happy with the pool, the surroundings, proximity to Tsilivi, beaches and the waterpark. Very relaxing, hoping to be back next year.
Location was great, minutes walk from the busy town with lots of bars and restaurants, about five minutes walk from the beach but a further 5 for the best part of the beach which was just beautiful. Friendly staff who were lovely to chat to and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfasts were varied with a hot breakfast always available and lots of pastries both savoury and sweet which were different each day. A very relaxing hotel with a beautiful pool and plenty of room to lounge all day beside it.
The most amazing, peaceful place I have ever visited! Surrounded by olive trees, the apartment is fully equipped and ideal either for couples and families!! Very very clean!!! I really enjoyed the yard in front of the stone house!! It is very modern and very traditional at the same time!!
This place is so quiet but still very close to everything. Tsilivi is about 2 km away with many shops and restaurants! I’m sad that I stayed only for one night! I will definitely visit again! Highly recommended!!!!
The staff is amazing. They are professional and super friendly. They remember specific preferences guests have and do anything to make your stay unforgettable. The suites are modern with amazing views. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of options from the buffet and a variety of options a la carts on top of that. George and Kostas in the bar create cocktails that are little artworks. I stay in hotels about 150 nights a year and to my opinion, Zante Maris Suites is a winner.
The location is very good. Tsilivi is one of the best tourist village in Zakynthos and Plaza Pallas is very close to the beach, around 5 min or so.
The breakfast was very good, buffet style, a lot of choices. It changes slightly from day to day, but it's very good.
The room was nice and clean, we had a family suite. The staff was helpful. I am really happy with the choice we made.
Everything was perfect. We got breakfast the day we arrived, while we waited for our rooms. Even got breakfast packed for the last day as our flight was early in the morning.
Location is perfect, next to tsilivi port and right on the beach. Staff amazing, friendly, really fun and helpful and rooms were exceptional, maybe just the mattress was too soft.

View was incredible! Our room was a very nice size for our family of 4. The food in the restaurant was very good. The beach is just a few steps from the hotel. The hotel staff were all very nice! Location is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and everything we needed.

lovely hotel 15minute walk into Tsilivi town supermarket 5 minute walk, 1/2 hour walk to Beach, staff were very friendly. Stella at reception was an absolute star and went above and beyond to help us, hotel spotless, as was the pool area and sun beds.
Everything was perfect. the beach is really close to the hotel .. there are many restaurants right next to the apartments .. the host was very nice and even booked a taxi for us to the airport ... the rooms are beautiful and cleaning every day
