Great location. We were walking the Sifnos trails and there were some right from the door and excellent buses a few steps away. Loved the neighbourhood - beautiful with lots of restaurants. Wonderful view from our room. Owner was a character! Friendly cats - we wanted to take one home with us!!

Lovely rural feel to yhe location and only a short walk to the village and buses.
Some rooms are a little dark, but there's plenty of outside space, so it's not a problem.
The owners were really lovely and helpful, I'd love to go back one day.

Artemon is just one small village on the island of Sifnos. It's very charming and has a local feel to it with some great restaurants but it's very small so you would ideally explore the rest of the island too - particularly if you have a car!

Artemon is a hilltop village with a surprising number of facilities. Its incredibly beautiful, all the houses are built around the beautiful stone foot paths. So it makes it very pedestrian friendly. Down the lane is Apollonia which is larger and has many shops and restaurants. We walked everywhere, its such a wonderful place to walk with paths going in every direction. In Sifnos they have improved the walking with special marked paths to all the main sights and places. This inspired us to walk - a lot ! To Poulati, Kastro, Chrisopigi, Faro, Platis Yialos, and Kamarai. The paths are the ancient ways, direct, beautiful and away from the road. We went in Easter time, so it was cool enough to walk all day.

For me everything was perfect: nice and smart architecture of the complex, the room spacious with good airconditioning, the generous pool only a few footsteps away from our porch, nice big trees offer shade, the bar was open from early to late, spectacular views. Very friendly staff and owner. This place had a super athmosphere. Great location too.

Very nice traditional village full of beautiful details. A long stairway leads down to Apollonìa and Katavati, without using the main road, in about 15/25 minutes.
Until September 14th there are enough buses to go to the most important sites of the island. Then the low season begins.
For solo travellers I personally would suggest to stay in Kamares, which is on the beach, because in Artemonas there aren't activities, but trekking, and you have continuosly to take the bus to go to the beach.
The apartment was very spacious, updated, and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. The patio was incredible with the most beautiful views one could imagine. The pool was stunning and we spent so much time there. The apartment is located near the town of Artemonas which made for delightful walks to and from dinner each night. Kristous was the most wonderful host as well. We did not want to leave! We will definitely come back!
Maria went above and beyond with her hospitality by making sure that we had everything we needed during our stay and by offering us a little present before we leave. Kate is located very close to Artemon, which is a quaint little village with lots of restaurants. The room at Kate was cleaned daily and the common kitchen was super useful for our breakfast. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.
We liked everything about the property. The decoration is very original and brings you closer to the Greek flair. The views of our terrace were stunning since we had a view at the sea overlooking at Paros.
The property was very clean and the beds comfortable. The location is between Chora and Artemon which makes it really easy to visit both places on foot so it was really central.
Breakfast was served in a cozy garden , we felt excellently cared for by the staff of the family-run hotel. We got from the owner a lot of valuable information about the history of the island and its inhabitants.
This hotel is absolutely recommended for all travelers who want to experience a piece of authentic island life.
Superb view, Margarita and Jorgos were extremely good hosts, Fidel the cat is just an adorable, lovely beast :) Would go back anytime, and I do recommend picking this hotel if visiting Sifnos. Everything is well maintained, spacious car park, great breakfast with breathtaking view, apartments are also perfectly clean.
Except the location and the view all other are very poor. Rooms are old and run down , small toilet without a shower curtain, breakfast very minimal and all that for a “supposed” four star hotel that you pay 210 euros per night!!!! Definitely DO NOT recommend this hotel and especially room 2.
We loved our stay there. It was so calming and the view from the hotel is just breathtaking. Breakfast was very tasty, with fresh orange juice and amazing coffee. The rooms are beautiful and the mattress was very comfortable. We loved it so much that we extended our stay one more day.

Definitely coming back here, and will recommend it to anyone wanting to come to Sifnos!

Breathtaking views; gorgeous sunrises; wonderful, beyond kind hosts (Flora, Ioanna, and George), beautiful island in full bloom; immediate access to hiking trails; villages of historic Castro and Artemonas only a short, scenic walk away.
The view is everything. If you prefer a place away from the sounds of the town . The moisture and the heat are considerably less up there . It's 10 minutes walking to the centre of Artemonas and the bus terminal .
The room was amazing value for money. Location was ok just a bit of walk to the bus area and the centre of Artemonas. Host was very helpfull and the room was ok. Water was handed to us.
