Great service, the owner is incredibly sweet - we got a welcome basket with breakfast essentials (even when booking without breakfast), all we had to do was buy a cup of yoghurt in a mini market down at the beach and we were sorted. And we got a welcome ice cream as well 💙
Rooms are big and clean, kitchen has everything you might need including fridge and coffee maker. There are even beach chairs in the room that you can take to the beach. Incredible view.

Matina is a great hostess, very accommodating and hospitable. She had left a few things for breakfast on the day of our arrival and was kind enough to also give us eggs and tomatoes from her mum's garden a few days later. The house was very comfortable, bright and airy, and spotlessly clean. The property is located at the village of Koronos, far from the tourist crowds usually found in Chora and the west part of the island. Everything was exceptional ! We were very warmly received by the family Koufopoulos, almost felt like home! We were supposed to stay for one night and we extended our stay.
I have no words to describe the food, all of it organic and fresh, from the family’s production.
The location is a little paradise, mainly in the winter period, with only 10 inhabitants. So very quiet, only to be disturbed by the few cats that try to catch your attention ! I totally recommend.

Beautiful traditional Greek village. Plenty of bars around the little beach all with smiley staff that made us so welcome. The village is quite isolated but Naxos isn't geared up for mass tourism anyway, and overall is extremely quiet compared to the likes of Syros and Tinos.If you're island hopping it's great, not so ideal for an extended stay

Apollonas, where the hotel Kouros is situated, is a small, traditional village in the north-eastern part of the Island Naxos. Apart from a couple of (excellent) restaurants and two bars (out of which one in the Hotel Kouros) there are no many activities for the youth, like disco´s etc. It´s quiet, peacfull and away from the noise of civilisation. People that come to Apollonas, do it in the first place for the high quality food that is served by the local restaurant owners, food that they cultivate mostly on their own. When it comes to Hotel Kouros in particular, it´s all about the peace and relaxation, its direct location at a nice beach and the activities that the host of the hotel provides to his guests, like for example diverse hiking journeys and kayak trips. To sum up the day in Hotel Kouros, I could say: start with a royal breakfast prepared by the owner, a hiking trip through diverse routes in the mountains, dinner in an excellent restaurant at the pictoresque boulevard, and an excellent mojito at the bar in Hotel Kouros (prepared personally by the host).

Lovely quiet place, good selection of restaurants and bars, but not a 'party' venue, which was good for us but worth bearing in mind if that's what you like!
It takes a while to get there as the roads are windy, but the scenery along the way is spectacular..
Excellent price-performance ratio. If you are looking for adventure, this is the perfect starting point. The location is great, near by the sea and a perfect pleace to chill out. Must try the mojito in the bar with a stunning sea view. When it is windy you can rent a surf board or take surfing lessons in the surfing school near the hotel.
If there is a planned kajak trip, lead by one of the owners, you should definitely check it out. You can always also rent a kajak. The place has a great vibe.

The exceptional kindness, hospitality and wise advice of the proprietor made this a special stay. In addition, the hotel was lovely, the breakfast copious and delicious, and the village beautiful and authentic. A great family atmosphere. I recommend the Adonis wholeheartedly! Also try Niko"s Tavern 100 meters away for wonderful, authentic Greek cooking right by the beach.
The great advantage of this location is that it sits directly on the beach! Loved that they had breakfast! Also loved the little bar outside for coffee or drinks. They were kind enough to send a shuttle to the port town to pick us up because finding a taxi can be quite difficult
Basic breakfast provided, but the hostess also brought in fresh orange juice one morning and also some local cheese. Filter coffee was good. Jams and butter provided.
Apollona is quite isolated but has a fair range of places to eat. Nice stay near the beach.

We had a very Nice stay at Adonis Hotel. The owner and the staff are so friendly, warm and helpful. The Hotel is in a very small and cozy village where you can relax, go to the Beach and see beautiful views on walks.
Although dated and tired the hotel is excellent value for money. It is positioned in the most beautiful beachfront spot in a lovely seaside village. The staff, facilities and breakfast are excellent!
Lovely small family run hotel with lots of character. Stamatis and his family couldn't be more welcoming, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast extensive with locally sourced produce.
