We loved the tranquility and the views. We chose a room in the main building which had a large balcony overlooking the wooded mountains. Alternatively we could have had a cabin in the grounds. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing and the onsite taverna and inclusive breakfast were excellent (we had wild boar one night and local water buffalo sausages the next)

Everything is top notch here; one of the TOP 3 best ever "one-night-standing" apartments I've ever been in. From facilities to furniture all is premium and it feels this way. It really felt like a place to be booked again.

Very hot for the time of our visit, and nothing much to do around, having our 4 years old daughter with us, just some long walks around the village.
As a big plus, people are very friendly and hospitable, local central tavernas are good options for eating out.
It would be a much better option to visit in the cold season(s), due to the local thermal springs, and we are thinking to come again maybe in november/december.
The place is ideal if you are looking to spend the night and get a good nights rest before crossing the border. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and spacious and the hotel is surrounded by a beautiful forest with a lovely view. The breakfast is also very nice and in the summer they had a variety of fresh fruit. Highly recommend it!
Nice little hotel. Breakfast was served in the room (we checked what we want from a list) and we ate on the balcony. The room was traditionally decorated. The sink was a beautiful painted ceramic piece. They have an inside parking lot. Very quiet area. 24 hours reception - we arrived at 00.30 and it wasn't a problem.
We stayed here for one night in transit from Greece to Romania. The hotel is a standard 3-star very conveniently located 10 minutes from the border. It is quiet and the view is nice towards the mountains. The facilities were clean, the staff is very friendly and nice, and breakfast was good.
We liked the place and the fact that it had a big yard where our daughter could run and play after a long stay in the car. The hotel has its own parking, is quiet, easy to find and has a nice view to the surrounding mountains.
I like the quiet location, the hotel is situated near the mountain, a lot of nature around, the breakfast is rich, enough parking slots. You can have the dinner at taverns in the village. All in all, a good 3-star hotel.
Excellent hotel with a stunning view on the mountains, with a park garden and one of the best breakfasts in all of Greece. Exceptionally friendly staff, confy apartment with a large terrace, plus balcony.
The hotel is a little bit "tired" but was clean . The breakfast was only a snack. The only thing that keeps the hotel alive is the " hamam" area - is good for one night after a long driving.
Good location, great views from the balcony and very reasonable prices! We love Angistron in general and we will for sure be back (to Paroraia as well)!
