Nice plase, a little wild for location, but the nature is great, people are kind and the food is delicious. It should be borne in mind that the journey there involves mountain roads with good asphalt, but with a large slope and many turns.

A small seaside resort set along a promenade in front of the beach. Sand is gritty and pebble in some places, water very clear and clean. We stayed on Papa Nero beach which is a bit quieter than the main Agios Ioannis beach but the two are joined by a promenade and foot bridge. There are plenty of choices for seafront restaurants and cafes. This would suit those looking for a relaxing break, and you can also walk to Damouchari where Mama Mia was filmed.

This is the best location if you want to explore the area of Pylio during summer. It is in the middle so you can visit all the important places, both sea and mountain, within a short period of time. It is highly recommended for families. For younger people, the problem is that there are not many places to go out at night.

Hotel Zefiros is a lovely and friendly place on the beach of Agios Ioannis. The family who run it is gorgeous, thank you for everything Dimitra! We received so many advices to what beach we should go to, what is there to see, best taverna in each spot and so on. Soooo much useful information, thank you so much. The rooms are nice and spacios, the breakfast patio with all its flowers is a lovely place to sit. Please do all go and spend some time in this typical Greek family run Hotel - thank you again Dimitra!
Breakfast is very healthy, balanced, and served in original way with exceptional hospitality in a beautiful environment. Hotel has wonderful veranda with lots of greenery and flowers. Staff was very supportive and helpful.
Despite bad weather conditions during the time off our stay we received all the effort from the hotel staff to make our time as good as possible.
Indeed a five-star property! The best location we had in Greece. Pelion is amazing. And Papa Nero is wonderful. Excellent service and facilities, amazing view, very friendly behaviour of the host, surprise homemade breakfast every morning.

We arrived early and the hotel had our room ready which was impressive. The hotel is very clean and our room was cleaned daily. Our room had a sea facing balcony and the bed was beyond comfortable.. The staff were very friendly and were very helpful.
Everything was fantastic! The hotel has a beautiful garden where you can drink you coffee, or take your breakfast, or just to rest. The property is about 150 m from Agios Ioannis Beach and about 300 m.from Papa Nero Beach.
The location was great to easily reach 3 beaches on foot (Plaka, Papa Nero and Agios Ioannis) and other locations by car, with large parking next door. The place was very clean, with good internet, mosquito net etc.
