We loved our 8-day stay at Villa Conte Rari in the little village of Kato Garouna. You'll definitely need a car for this stay; it's optimally located for day trips in all directions of the island, plus the stunning Agio Gordios beach is just 5-10 minutes away. The kitchen is equipped for simple cooking. And thankfully, the air conditioning works very well! The host is very accommodating and quick to respond.

Wonderful sea view, close to tavernas and shops, 2 steps from the beach. The apartment was well equiped and the host very welcoming, helpful, always available and flexible! The parking is not directly at the accommodation, but that was not a problem, we just had to walk 3 minutes. The mattresses were really comfortable, more on the firm side.

The place is just so beautiful and relaxed, in the evenings it’s like a movie scene which is unbelievable, Sunsets are beautiful. Getting to the place is a bit of a challenge if you plan on taking public transportation as it is on the other side of the Island and I’m not really sure if public transportation is available in that area from the city or the airport. If you rent a car it will be an amazing experience for you as you will drive through the mountains and experience the sights of the city and the areas between the mountains.

Agios Gordios is a good choice for a family holiday.
Agios Gordios is a good choice for a family holiday. It's a mid- sized resort and has everything you need- restaurants, supermarkets etc. We were hoping to find a place with real Greek character. Although it's primarily a holiday resort it does have a nice peaceful atmosphere, and the local people were very friendly and welcoming. The beach is huge, and although there are lots of sunbed areas, there are also large areas without sunbeds where you can have your own space and quiet.

This was my first visit to Corfu.
This was my first visit to Corfu. Having visited many other Greek islands I wanted to ensure I chose a small resort which hadn't been ruined by mass tourism, and this certainly lived up to that expectation. Nice beach, great choice of restaurants, and no tacky British pubs / clubs / mega hotels. Would definitely visit again.

cool village, there are places to go and things to see, but not very much. shops(supermarket) are only for tourists, so everything is overpriced. + there are no buses to get to other town, you can only take a taxi or order a tour, for example, to Corfu Town for 9€ there and 9€ back, not so expensive, but! 14€ there , than 20€ (minimum) to eat 3 times per day for one person, to buy 5 liters of water, another 5€ and in conclusion that's a lot per day. that's why it's a minus, the only way out is to rent a scooter... but if you haven't a license, then that's all, there will only be a tourist overprice and no authentic places, unfortunately.
Wonderful stay at Maistralis cottage. Right in the centre of Agios Gordios village. Close to shops, cafes and the beach. Exceptional service from Spiradoula who met us late at night with the key and showed us where everything was. She gave us water and complimentary fruit which was very appreciated at our late arrival. It was good for my little family of 3. The best thing was the personal touch. Any questions we had, our lovely host was nearby.
The excellent location, with seaview and mountain view at the same time, good size balcony (most of the day in shade), free car parking lot available (for all guests), nice swiming pool with a bar nearby. Restaurants, shops and a center of the one of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu, Agios Gordios, are in walking distance. Last not the least: cool Bob Dylan poster ;-) The host was kind, friendly and helpful.
Recommended.
The view is beautiful, rooms are good sized (clearly an older hotel), AC worked fined, big balcony and efficient blackout windows. Shower was great. Could offer water, considering that sumer in Greece has been so horrible and you cannot drink tap water in Corfu. The pool is actually belonging to a different hotel but in the afternoon you have access to it if you consume something from the bar, which I found it a nice touch.
We loved the hotel. it was exceptionally clean and the staff were helpful and very friendly. We were all inclusive and found the food choice varied and good. Our room was tastefully decorated and felt luxurious, felt like home from home. Only negative was the resort, as keen walkers there wasn’t anywhere to walk to other than 15mins along the seafront. I highly recommend the hotel.
The family gave us a warm welcome and a very pleasant stay. We could reach out to them at any time and they were very helpful. The rooms are tidy and exactly what you need during your stay at Corfu. On top of that you’ll have an amazing view from your balcony. It is a small walk into the village of Agios Gordios where there is a nice beach and where they serve good food.
The place was very-very close to the beach, yet not directly on the main road, so it was acceptably quiet at night (some scooters were still audible, unfortunately).
The room was clean and spacious; room service was provided once every 2 days.
We rented a scooter during our stay and the owner was kind enough to let us park it inside the garden area.
besides being in a perfect spot of Agios Gordios, and the beautiful apartment, you will get to meet the sweetest woman in corfu. stop your searching process and book this one ! you wont regret it.
Bus stop 30 seconds from the apartment, so is the market, beach 5 minutes. amazing restaurants with local cuisine, italian, mexican...
This is the family hotel. Lovely, friendly and kind people are working there. We really enjoyed our stay! We stayed for two weeks. We actually liked everything! The rooms were simple, clean and cosy. The pool area was great, and the location of the hotel is great as well! We enjoyed our stay in Aloha Hotel and Agios Gordios! :))
The accommodation is:
- well located (about 8 mins walk to the beach)
- clean
- well equipped with everything you need for cooking and washing the dishes (including an Italian style coffee machine and even a package of ground coffee available)
- cozy terrace overlooking a small garden
- cute decorum of the accommodation
Charming family run restaurant and accommodations nestled into the hillside of Agios Gordios, 900 meters from a lovely beach. The family hosts were warm, friendly, and helpful. It was lovely to roll of out bed and have a terrific breakfast at the outdoor ivy-covered restaurant. Quite heavenly.
The views from this place are amazing, especially for sunsets. It is just a 6min walk from the beach and we easily parked in front of the building. I would greatly recommend this place and definitely be back if we are at Agios Gordios. It has all you might need for a short stay.
Spacios and well located 2 floor villa in Agios Gordios. Perfect for short and long term stays. Each floor is rented separately and the main hall faces the village and the sea. The view throug the large doors is wonderful. The lady who attended us is extremely nice and smiley.
Lovely family run hotel. The hotel is ideally situated in the village and a short walk to the village and beach
We went to the Greek night on our first night and really enjoyed it was great fun and the food fantastic
it’s really close to the supermarket and bus stop
View is breathtaking! The little private beach is perfect! The space is as pictured. The restaurant is great and also with a spectacular view. The host is amazing. They took care of all our needs. Don't hesitate to book!
Marina was very helpful and caring.
The pool was not ready yet because Corfu just opened up. But it looked great! They were puting the water in !
Relaxed little touristic village.
Nice beach and good food.
The location is great, the kind you would see fit for exotic DJ sets filming - #cosmicgate ;) The apartment is large, comfortable and modern. Loved especially the little beaches hidden by the rocks.
Family run hotel/apartments. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Service is very good. Location up on the hill with beautiful view as promised - short walk to the beach, restaurants and markets.
