Especially after the crowds in the north of Corfu and the mega hotels around the beaches here, we really appreciated the quiet, pastoral setting of the Stars. Our room was modest and fairly small with a balcony, but we did a last minute booking & were pleased to get in. As Emily said, “you’ll sleep well here” & we did. The breakfast array is plentiful & good, especially the coffee & homemade items. But it’s the dinner meal you want to make sure you take here. Don’t request the stereotypical offerings that are available everywhere: The specials each night, and the Greek meals, are plate licking delicious. And Kosta can whip up some good cocktails and wine for you when you describe what you want. We enjoyed watching the pleasure the kids were having in the pool but usually had spent too much time at the beach to want to use the pool ourselves. Love the parking situation.

Great resort for a family vacation. Beach and pools are clean and well maintained. Poolside music and dj could choose some relaxed chill vibe music sometimes because all we could hear was '80 disco music blasting through speakers. The resort shop has everything you need or forgot for your vacation, well stored with different items, souvenirs, and is affordable. Compliments to Albredo (golf cart guy) - he was excellent, very friendly, welcoming, and always a smile on his face. Cookie was great also when we did our photo session. Wifi is great all throughout the resort, which was a very positive surprise. Housekeeping did an awesome job every day. The food was abundant and tasty at the buffet. A la cart greek restaurant could have been better with food selection and presentation. To sum up, great place for a family vacation, and we will be back for sure.

We have traveled in the main land Greece and it was great. IN my opinion, Corfu is over rated. It is a big island full of cars with traffic lights not working anywhere. So, there is traffic in the Corfu town and surrounding and no place to park. The building are all old and run down and nobody cares about restoring or painting them although the town makes a lot of money from tourists. There is not much to see except for an old fortress and the Achilleion palace which is closed for renovation. Beaches are just average sandy or rocky beaches and not comparable to the mainland beaches in terms of beauty. If you want to go around the island, it takes you hours to drive and may not worth your time and cost of rental car and gas.

The property is extremely good with a big green garden .and the host was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the house for families with children as well. There are also lot of good restaurants nearby- our favourite was the taverna Kafesas with delicious greek style kitchen.

The village is a very typical narrow purpose place - I'd call it one street village akka main road plus to the left the beach to the right the houses. I have chosen it primarily for the beach. The village has everything one could need for holiday and its huge added value is reliable public bus scheme allowing to get to Corfu town or other villages on the south of the island. The key disadvantage (at least at the time of my stay mid July 2023) is that the public bus do not go to the north of the island, so for example no visit to Paleokastrisa for patty cash price, but one can have private boat rides toward north for a solid price.

One of the best places in Corfu. Long real sandy beach, no stones, no pebbles, real sundy beach approx. 3 km long, we can swim naked ;-). We found this beach during our previous stay and if Corfu, then Issos beach.

locateted on the south-west coast of corfu', this village is perfect to enjoy wide sandy beach, reachable walking from accomodation or in a short distance. many good restaurant and plenty supermarket and convenience shops. some nightlife spots also there,
This simple, small and clean accommodation is in a perfect location in Agios Georgios. It's at the perfect end of the village; only a few steps from the beach, closest to its sandy part, 10. minutes walk from the naturist beach, literally steps away from restaurants and tourist offices.
The owner is very kind and helpful. We had lovely breakfast in his café a couple of times, and did our grocery shopping in his parents' supermarket, just downstairs. He responded to our requests (e.g. extra sheets, pillows, etc.) immediately.
I've been to Greece many times, but Gerekos studios were by far the BEST accommodation. The apartments are exceptionally clean, perfectly equipped with everything you would need, even for a longer stay, with a beautiful garden and just 2 min away from a fascinating sandy beach. The owners of Gerekos studios are exactly as exceptional as their house, just unique people with warm hearts and so welcoming. If you want to explore South Corfu with all its beautiful nature, Gerekos studios should be your choice. :)
Lovely comfortable, well equipped apartment. Located in a quiet part of town with a short walk to a beautiful beach, two or three lovely restaurants and a nice friendly bar. The main restaurants and beach of Agios Georgios are about 25 mins walk. You may want a car if you’d prefer not to walk.
We would stay here again. Having a washing machine was great and loved being able to use the push bike for a quick visit to the supermarket. Lovely terrace at the apartment with hammock. Highly recommended.
"Arrived as a guest, departed as a friend". This motto is not printed on billboards by the hosts, but lived. We were able to spend very relaxed days in a family atmosphere. The rooms are a bit outdated but in perfect condition. The rooms, the pool and the whole hotel are very clean and the location directly on the sea is perfect. We also got valuable insider tips for excursions. Many thanks to Anastasia and Jannis for the wonderful time, we are already looking forward to our next visit.
everything was perfect. it's a big renoved country house with 1 or 2 bedrooms, equipped kitchen, aircon and cable tv. the boss olga, a tipycal greek hard-worker woman, and her son jannis were very helpful with a lot of suggestions about places, beaches and restaurant. they give us good tea and we could borrow sun umberella. agios georgios beach in 10 min. walk and 2 more wide and quite beaches and a lake not so far. stricktly recommended.
It was really amazing. Katerina is fantastic host caring and helpful. Every day she makes sure if all is ok. The apartment is very clean the bathroom was nice with a big shower. It is super close to the seaside near many restaurants and markets. Agios Georgios is located in very quiet area so you can rest very well. Also there are two gorgeous beaches Gardenos and Marathias few minutes by car.
We had a wonderfull stay at Stars Hotel! We had a big room with a nice balcony view. The room was very clean and we had clean towels every other day. Emily and Kostas are the best host we ever had! Always there for helping you. Emily cooks delicious and Kostas is the perfect guide for planning your trips around the island. We highly recommend this place.
The location was excellent in Agios Georgios, just a 10-15 minute walk to different beaches. Liz and Ann were really helpful and friendly. They also cleaned our room half way of our stay and we only stayed 4 nights. We also received some lovely vegetables from their garden. Overall, excellent stay and well worth the money. Amazing location, 10 minutes walking from a calm and calm beach. The accommodation is easily accessible by bus from Corfu town and John was very kind and picked us up and dropped us up by car. There is also a nice garden, the facilities are great, and the apartment was overall very comfortable.

Lovely hotel. This was our second visit. We felt the food selection was better last year. Staff very friendly, some of them remembered us. Grandchildren enjoyed it. We would like to see an entrance gate where the train comes in for easy access to beach.
