It was our first time in Batumi and I am so glad we decided to stay in the suburb - Gonio. We drove to Batumi several times to explore the city, but didn't like this experience. Being very close to the border with Turkey, there is, unfortunately, TOO MUCH heavy truck traffic on the only highway along the beach. Be CAREFUL (walking) crossing the road to the beach!
There are PLENTY of authentic Georgian restaurants serving great salads and cold beer!)))

Gonio is a perfect place for having rest of crazy work shifts. It is very easy to get Gonio. You can travel by bus or train, or airplane to Batumi and then by taxi ,only 10 minurs. IN Gonio you can enjoy with calm, beautiful atmosphere. Sea in Gonio is the best I have ever seen. Sea is calm, warm and clean. Beaches are clear and comfortable. The perfect thing is that in Gonio you can enjoy not only by sea views, but also with mountain views. People in Gonio are friendly.
I stayed in comfortable hotel Roshe. It is the best hotel! There is a restaurant At the second floor with the great kitchen! All food was so delicious!
I loved Gonio so much that I want to arrive again!

My big recommendation for this Apartment, I would like to mention that the apartment is located in the first strip on the sea shore, there is a shop nearby, it is a neat and clean apartment with all the necessary equipment, it has a comfortable bedroom, we found all the necessary items in the kitchen, the balcony is very quiet and comfortable, I will gladly visit again All seasons in Gonio Apartment.
The best guest house around. There are many facilites made me happy. Spacious and fully equipped common kitchen. Nice grill, cute aquarium.
Rly close to everything, to the sea, to Gonio cross (recommend to walk there at summer, great views), fortress, bus stop and local taxi.
The owner is frendly and welcoming, always ready to help.

Really good place. Quite a small, but clean room. It was more than enough for us. Good WiFi connection except for times when the electricity went out (but that's not a hotel problem).
Good breakfasts were included. It was pretty the same every day, but again I'm fully OK with such a breakfast.
Cozy room in a picturesque countryside. Sea is in a few minutes walk. The Twins Hotel has a well-supplied kitchen, which was very convenient as we love to cook. Wi-Fi was good enough if you need to do some work. The host, Alex, was very welcoming, looking forward to our next visit!
it was very good and clean rooms. bed linen was very good quality. staff where kind and helpfully , also have kitchen and you can use anytime . had also balcony where you can sit and drink coffee or have a breakfast. beach is very near. And 24 hour supermarket there .
Location is best, near to the sea and quiet place. Green yard with wonderful pool. Hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Hotel has lovely cafe with delicious food. Totally, great place to spend vocation. Highly recommend 10/10

We had a nice stay at Citro Villa Gonio. Clean, comfortable rooms, good location. Very good host. Included free pickup from Batumi central station and gave us free late checkout.

Hotel Captain is the most comfortable hotel in Gonio, with spacy rooms, private shower, large balconies, excellent wifi, private parking. All perfect for a quiet few days on the beach (250m)
