The Cottage, hotel in Ystradgynlais

Situated in Ystradgynlais and only 25 km from Grand Theatre, The Cottage features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Such a quaint and beautiful little cottage, so homely and welcoming. The whole house was immaculate and provided us with everything we needed and more. The cottage also has its own private garden which was so spacious and well-kept. The host was fantastic and couldn't have been kinder, answering all of our questions, suggesting places to visit and even coming to greet us when we arrived. This cottage was faultless and I will definitely be returning!

Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages, hotel in Ystradgynlais

Just 2 miles from Pontardawe, Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages feature family-run, self-catering accommodation on a farm, 10 miles from Gower Peninsula and 8 miles from Brecon Beacons National Park.

Very peaceful and secluded and had everything that you needed. Although the cottage must date back over a 120 years it has clearly been recently refurbished to a very standard.

Little London Bed & Breakfast and Glamping pod, hotel in Ystradgynlais

Boasting a garden and views of river, Little London Bed & Breakfast and Glamping pod is a guest house set in a historic building in Abercraf, 27 km from Grand Theatre.

The owners have put some very hard work into re-building this property and turning it into a proper luxury B&B. The story behind this and the B & B name itself are very interesting. Both Catherine and Gareth met us at the door where we were given a very warm welcome. Gareth took the cases upstairs to our room which was absolutly immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The usual tea and other makings you would expect were there, including fresh milk which beats the manufactured tiny plastic long-life stuff by far. Bedside sockets had USB charging points and air conditioning was available too. Great bathroom, good comfortable size with a deep bath and seperate walk-in shower. The silent extractor fan is a nice touch. Plenty of towels, etc.. We had a really good comfortable 3 nights sleep, no disturbance from nearby rooms or traffic. Breakfast was most probably one of the best we've had with a very good choice on the menu. The fresh fruit platter and a 'Little London' cooked breakfast was ample for us. There is a larger 'Little London' option available on the menu if your a hearty eater. Access was down a short tree /shrub covered private lane, you wont have any trouble though and there is plenty of room to turn around in the dedicated car park. Signage to find the drive entrance could be a little clearer, otherwise it wasn't that difficult to find . This we understand to be as a result of local planning laws and NOT an ommision on the part of the hosts. All in all a really great place, excellent hosts, most definately very good value for money and a B&B we will definately look to book when we go visiting again. Thanks Gareth & Catherine for a great stay.

My father was born here and I was pleasantly surprised to see how the town has changed for the better. Some really nice little shops and coffee shops of course. The houses are well looked after and the local people were friendly.
