Whitehills isn’t a headline tourist destination but this traditional fishing village definitely grew on us. Just a couple of miles along the coast from Banff there’s a lovely coastal walk between the two places and there’s the most excellent friendly pub (Seafield Arms) in the village which does great food. For visitors with young kids there’s an excellent play park down on the sea front. It makes a good base for trips to Banff, Macduff, Portsoy and Cullen.
