Booked a room at the Blairmains Guest House for my parents coming to visit me from oversees. I didn’t know what to expect and they had a great stay. Great location, friendly people, very peaceful. Highly recommend!

There is nothing to see in Whitburn. It is rundown.
There is nothing to see in Whitburn. It is rundown. Lots of fish and chip shops! There are no decent restaurants close by. The Best Western Hillcroft is supposed to have a good restaurant I found the food awful there. The bar is nice and the staff are friendly. There is nothing to do in Whitburn.

Lovely wee town and we traveled from Belfast Northern Ireland for 4 days to visit my daughter who's living there now absolutely loved it beautiful place and handy with the buses to get to and from lots of places even to the train station would definitely recommend a home from home feel and less busier than main city's
Everything was satisfactory - quite pricey for the standard, but it was very near the location I needed to be for work the following day. The A705 is quite a busy road and the hotel is on a traffic light junction - I was very glad I was in a room at the back of the property otherwise the road noise would have kept me awake.
The staff were very friendly and helpfull the hotel is well situated with the train station only 4 miles away for easier access in to edinbrough or glasgow . this hotel was always kept clean by its staff specially by the two lads behind the bar the breakfast is very good with a good choice .there is ample parking spaces.
It's a nice hotel, the beds where a bit too firm for me but that's always personal choice. Room was clean and well equipped as was the bathroom. Temperature of the room was easily controlled and nice and cosy when we arrived. We've stayed before and we will stay again.
The size of the room was really impresive, a lot of space for bags and walking around them. A lot of parking spaces around the hotel. I did like a location - midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
