Such a lovely place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jacky was an incredible host, very accommodating and quick to reply. The place itself was immaculate and so cosy. Jacky was kind enough to leave some treats and milk which was very handy for the morning coffee! Would definitely stay again 🙂

The cleanest most luxurious bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. Brian was most welcoming and gave us a beautiful room with sea views. Beautiful gardens and was able to use the hot tub

Strangford is a lovely little village with very friendly locals and just enough facilities. Nice little home bakery, good pub and 3 x decent restaurants. You can get the ferry over to Portaferry if desired but there are lots of things to do close to the town. Castle Ward is walking distance, nice little beach close by, Saul and Downpatrick are all within close driving distance.

The Ards peninsula is scattered with little harbours and amazing scenery and history. Scrabo tower, the harbour at Portavogie and Killyleagh Castle are all must sees. The ferry from Portaferry to Strangford takes minutes and is an easy way to start or finish your trip.
Lovely little holiday rental in a great location just a short drive from Downpatrick with easy and cheap access across the lough by the ferry from strangford.
Property in great condition with a recently renovated kitchen and well laid out interior despite small footprint of the building itself.
Host was great, even replying to queries from us despite travelling for work at the time we stayed and had left us fresh daffodils, a lovely welcoming touch!
In the bar and restaurant all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The breakfasts were of high quality and I've rarely experienced such excellent poached eggs!
We had one evening meal in the Cuan, and food was delicious, if anything there was a little bit too much. I strongly recommend the shank of lamb. Yummy.
The hotel/bar is located in the town cdentre and very close to the ferry.
Ian was the perfect host. Met us with keys and showed us round. We were attending a wedding in Strangford so apartment was perfect location . It was spacious and spotlessly clean. Ian left a selection of items so we could make breakfast. We hadn't been expecting this so was a real bonus. There is a beautiful courtyard garden which we were able to use to eat our breakfast as the weather was gorgeous
Great house. We stayed as a family of four and our boys loved having all the space and having a garden to run around in. All the facilities inisde were great and move than we needed. Amazing location; we loved walking over to Castle Ward to explore. And Strangford, Portaferry, Downpatrick, Newcastle were easily accessible by car.
Really convenient for the great bars and restaurants in Strangford and for Ardglass Golf Club (15 min) and Royal County Down Golf club (30 min). Kitchen/Diner great , log fire great, the space and quality of bedrooms great.
Absolutely fantastic place property and the owners everything you would ever need in the most beautiful quiet location facilities unbelievable the views over Strangford Lough breathtaking just absolutely a slice of heaven.
Friendly and helpful hosts who were flexible on our arrival and leaving times. Everything that you need and more in the apartment. Really close to the centre of Strangford. Would recommend
The continental breakfast was fine for me. The location of the hotel was perfect for what i wanted to do ( unfortunately the weather was poor) but it did not spoil my enjoyment.
