It’s a newish hotel and comes with all the trappings that a new hotel, Premier Inn style delivers. Breakfast on the first day was good.

Beautiful property ideally located on the promenade. Room was well maintained and spacious, very comfortable and overlooking the sea. Staff were exceptional and very friendly. Pete was very welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. He clearly loves his job and is an excellent ambassador for the Halvard Hotel. Rachel, Chloe and Grace also very friendly and efficient.

The breakfast had good choices, particularly the fruit and cereal option, but we were surprised that fruit juice wasn’t standard. Dinners again offered variety, and the salmon was exceptional. Staff were very kind and helpful, and managed to juggle dining times to fit us in to the restaurant each evening.

From our accommodation at Glen Mona we used Ramsey as our local for food and drink, there is a little bit there for everyone, we enjoyed our visits and found the 30 to 60 minute bus service very useful, we found the Italian restaurant was satisfactory and the Chinese restaurant service quick and friendly. The signage for the A2 road was either missing or obscured by TT safety items.

We went to IOM for trains and transport.
We went to IOM for trains and transport. We enjoyed but IOM still in 1970's. Shops close early and they still have early closing.
Trains stop running at 4.30 but luckily buses run late.
Not a holiday for young families.

Nice small seaside town, not a lot to do but a good base for the north of the island. The villages round about have an excellent range of eating places but need looking for. Ramsey is the sunniest place on the Island and with Manx weather it needs to be.

Very comfy room and a high standard bathroom.
Very comfy room and a high standard bathroom. Cleanliness excellent. Beachside location and quiet. Free and spacious parking. Friendly and helpful staff, despite the fact that they were under pressure and some were new. The hotel needs windows that open a little further and/or air conditioning - although we understand the windows are in line with the law.

Ramsey was very pleasant.
Ramsey was very pleasant. There was very little to do there of an evening and even less places to eat. Despite this being early in the season I would have expected that more take aways and restaurants would have been open evenings and at weekends. There were a lot of early motor bike fans arriving for the TT along with other guests, with no choice of places to eat. I think the local supermarket was the only place open ( or petrol Station). Ramsey Council's decision to be so against dogs in the area was a real disappointment. There were signs everywhere refusing dogs entry. Finding places to walk our dog was a challenge.

Ramsey is a beautiful town in the north if the isle of man.
Ramsey is a beautiful town in the north if the isle of man. Perfect for exploring with a lovely selection of local shops and eateries if you want to stay in town. A walk along the promenade is highly recommended.
The apartment was lovely, it had everything we could possibly need to feel like home and was beautifully clean and tidy.
Great location for exploring ramsey and had loads of room to relax in the sitting/dining room.
The washer and drier were a really pleasant surprise and we were grateful for the tea/ coffee and milk on arrival.
Paul met us to give us the keys and was lovely and friendly and helpful.
Very secure and safe parking.
Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!
Thank you 😊
.The location, convenient for walking into Ramsey yet outside the centre in a quiet road overlooking the Mooragh Park and across to the sea.Car owners needn't worry about a spot to park and there's no need to stay in Douglas. Simon and Jenny are great hosts and provide a comfortable place to stay, along with good service and an excellent breakfast.
Nice hotel, feels big and luxurious. Nice and good breakfast in big dining room. Staff is nice and helpful. Location is pleasant, near park, lake and promenade, but in the edge of town (which is small anyway so it's not so bad).
Lovely house overlooking superb gardens. Very quiet, yet just off the main road to Ramsey. Nice clean room with great shower and en suite. Very nice breakfast and friendly hosts.
The apartment is light, airy and modern with access to the Milntown Gardens at any time. It is a beautiful place to stay within walking distance of Ramsey centre.
The location on the edge of Ramsey was really useful, whilst still being in a secluded, beautiful location. Such a bonus to have private access into the gardens.
