After a very long day of travelling and getting there late, Kirsty was very understanding and accommodating. The king room is very spacious. The breakfast lived up to other reviews, which was very good. Would be more than happy to stay here again. In fact, I think we may do next year

We liked the location and lake side cottages. The kitchen was well equipped with basic amenities to stay longer. Loved the view

Lovely room 43 with 4 poster bed and lovely views . Staff great and friendly. Restaurant very busy in evening --full both nights . They had an excellent restaurant manager ,cant remember his name but it was something like Sofin . He was totally in control of the restaurant and it was so obvious to us that he had total respect from his staff . He was there when any junior waiter/waitress were under pressure and helped and guided them . Customers he was always willing to chat to them .Food good especially the proper kippers at breakfast
