Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check-in. Bangor is close enough to the North Wales attractions for this accommodation to be considered when visiting Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon, the coast, etc.

On entering the Slate Hotel reception, it had a lovely cosy feel. All the staff were welcoming and pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep in the comfy bed. We ate in the restaurant on the day we arrived. The food was well priced, plentiful and delicious. We booked here as a stopover before catching an early morning ferry the next day. We would definitely stay there again.

Staff were very efficient and helpful. Bed was comfy, dinner was good, bathroom was very clean and good fixtures, large bath and hot water. Traditional inn style bar and restaurant. Lots of history, 20 mins drive from Eryri.
