I stayed the night before the Etape Caledonia road cycling event. I loved that they had setup for the event with a secure bike storage space, early 5am breakfast/checkout, and allowed me to park in their car park after checkout until after the event. The place is a castle on top of a hill with majesty views out the window and the property has pretty ponds and gardens, very scenic.

Central location. Very charming and accommodating staff. Lift to access upper room. Parking adjacent. Good breakfast, all you could wish for. “Pub” part of hotel, next door has outdoor seating, serves good food and service is very impressive.
I arrived early, my luggage was taken good care of.

Although the Hotel was very dated and very much in need of redecoration, our room was very clean with a comfy bed. All the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful.

There are some interesting shops too and if you're into tweed, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We first visited Pitlochry in autumn 2019 - it was delightful then - it’s now spring 2024 - just as enjoyable, not a lot has changed. The main shopping precinct is busy with bus tours and particularly with tourists over the weekend - early mornings are best to get a seat in a coffee shop . To beat the crowds, take the suspension bridge across Tummel River to the Port-na-Craig area - the stone cottages and pub by the river bank is a tranquil area to enjoy. Continue along the walking path to the ‘salmon ladder’ and beyond to Faskally Wood or much further to the Killiecrankie Visitors Centre.

A thriving town with lots of independent shops to browse in, eateries & bars & the distillery. There are several museums & galleries. There are frequent drama productions. All the hotels were well signposted.
The scenery is superb with the River Tummel, lochside, woodland & mountain vistas.
Loch Faskally is absolutely stunning & Queens View is aptly named.
There are many walks available from Ben Vrackie 841m, to many waymarked walks in the forest parks. There is a great stroll down to the river & a nice park near the hotel.
Great for angling & cycling routes south of the river. The botany of the limestone outcrops is famous.

Lots of choices of restaurants / pubs.
Lots of choices of restaurants / pubs. Plenty of quaint shops on the high street. A good base for sightseeing. Short car journey from The House of Brewer. We stayed 1 night to break our journey up, so limited time to fully explore the area.
Hotel is well located for centre of town. Plenty of free parking. We were given a free upgrade to a Deluxe Family room which was superb. Room was tastfully decorated, well equipped and spotless. Everything looked new. Fantastic walk in shower and bathroom. Despite weather being -4 degrees outside the central heating (which you can control) kept the room toasty. Lovely buffet style full Scottish breakfast included. Friendly, helpful staff. If we return to Pitlochry, will definitely stay again.
We loved the Ambience of the place felt relaxed from the start hotel staff were inviting professional we felt individual they were accommodating. We did not eat here as wanted to explore Pitlochry however breakfast was outstanding staff were attentive. The building is clean relaxing welcoming and home from home for us so felt relaxed would definitely recommend and hope to return in the New Year.
I talk about this Hotel to family and friends all the time a great memory for us. Thank you
The Arcasaid Hotel B &B in Pitlorchy blew my mind away, what a place, from the outside it did not look good! However, on entering front door the room was large, great beds, shower. Young lady on reception Lara, helped me carry our luggage in to the room! Breakfast was one of the best on our trip in Ireland & Scotland, gave us great directions to a great restaurant in Pitlochry, The Bridge was fantastic!
It is centrally located between Pitlochry, Dunkeld, Aberfeldy and just north of Perth. Hotel is close to the main motorway, A9. Has a bar and restaurant, albeit the restaurant was closed temporarily during my stay, the continental breakfast was superb! Everything fresh and lovely! Rooms updated and super clean.
Hotel is spotless. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Choice of and breakfast amazing. Made very welcome and provided with some recommendations for things to do in the area. (Which we did take on) and saw a fantastic show at the local theatre. Would highly recommend if you are planning a stay in Pitlochry.
This place is amazing, great location, friendly staff, extremely spacious rooms, modern clean bathrooms and beds super comfy. We would come back here next time visiting Pitlochry over a big hotel any time. On the Main Street next to everything. Also has parking! … honestly a hidden gem.
One of our favorite stays in Scotland. Such a nice rooms and a beautiful location. Everything within walking distance and a gorgeous town. The facility was comfortable and the beds were great and breakfast was excellent. I just wish we could’ve stayed longer.
Fishers hotel is located on the main street in Pitlochry, and very easy to find. It was also the pickup point for the Enchanted Forest experience, so was very convenient. The complimentary drink upon check-in was a nice touch.
Practically everything was great. Facilities super clean, the staff nice. There were some people in the common area, so I imagine you could meet people there. Location is superb in the center of Pitlochry.
We enjoyed our stay here and everything was as advertised. It was great to be within walking distance from everything in Pitlochry. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful when you needed them.
I loved the fact that the hotel was right on the Main Street in Pitlochry with a few local shops to explore. I love highland cows so the highland cow wall art in my room was a nice surprise.
Gordon was stupendous — thinking always about what would make the stay good for us. The property was immaculate, and in an excellent location in charming Pitlochry
Historic hotel with a nice pub attached, good breakfast and a lovely staff with a good sense of humor. Booked last minute and it turned out to be perfect.
