Shore Hotel Laxey, hotel in Peel

Set in Laxey, 200 metres from Laxey Beach, Shore Hotel Laxey offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

The breakfast had good choices, particularly the fruit and cereal option, but we were surprised that fruit juice wasn’t standard. Dinners again offered variety, and the salmon was exceptional. Staff were very kind and helpful, and managed to juggle dining times to fit us in to the restaurant each evening.

Peel is historically interesting and varied, comprising a fishing port/marina, castle and sandy family friendly beach. Varied eating places but limited in number, I went self-catering. Peel is very easy traverse on foot. Winter isn't the best time to visit.
