The room was a comfortable temperature and tastefully decorated, the twin beds were very comfortable for my brother and I who are both retired, at other hotels I've stayed I was relegated to a sofa bed relinquishing the bed to my 90yr old father, which exacerbated my disability and required medical intervention.
The location was excellent for our needs, we needed to buy a few things which we had forgotten to bring with us so the near by supermarket was a god send.
The train station was easily accessible for us to collect other incoming family members for the family gathering.
The breakfast was lovely and the fried bread and the black pudding were a very welcome surprise, my compliments to the chef on the menu.
