Great pub/restaurant next door. Quiet, 30 minutes by bus into the city centre. USB Port in sockets next to bed to charge phones. Vending machine in lobby with snacks and drinks (water for 1.40£ for 0,33 was a bit pricey, especially when there is no where else to buy warer nearby.

Breakfast was very standard for the price. Grounds were lovely. Room not furnished or decorated as described. Key card didn’t work had to swap it 3 times. The queen double bed was 2 singles pushed together. Staff ok but not very welcoming.

This place provides a very good accommodation for people travelling and visiting Scotland by road. The rooms have been fully renovated, they are very comfortable and the food is just amazing. In top of that there is some scary legends link to the place. The nights can be very sleepless and sweetie or sweaty ?
