I loved the vibe in this hotel. Very characteristic but also modern comforts. Lots of activity in the bars and restaurants. Very lively. Beautiful spacious room. Friendly people. I loved the restaurant. We had the best meal of our trip to Wales here. Breakfast was outstanding. Great table service, drink top ups. Loved the hospitality. The town is lovely as well. Parking lot behind the hotel.

Cherryberry Lodges, hotel in Llanwenarth

Set 1.1 km from Abergavenny town centre, Cherryberry Lodges has barbecue facilities and garden.

My stay at Cherryberry Lodges was all I was hoping for and more. I booked it as part of a solo walking holiday. My sleeping cabin was homely, simple and cosy and my kitchen and lounge (a separate cabin just a few feet away) had everything I needed (and a lovely, toasty gas fired stove). The toilet cabin was simple, with a shared shower and a cubicle reserved for each cabin. The icing on the cake was the breakfast. I came to the lounge in the morning to be greeted with a basket overflowing with bread, fruit, juice, porridge and pastries and then Sarah showed up with a delicious hot full English breakfast on top! A great stay with a delightful, friendly host.
