Great location, the lodge exceeded our expectations and was private and not overlooked. The food at the restaurant was excellent including the included breakfast. Can’t fault it and we’ll be back soon.

We had an amazing stay at Royal Oak. They were super nice and accommodating. We travelled with two our twin toddlers and the whole staff was really nice to us. From James at reception to everyone in the restaurant.
Whales is stunning and loved the location perfect for weekend. The food at the Grill was delicious!

The property was exquisite, full of character and lots of history, perfect getaway for me, my wife and our son. My wife climbed Snowdon and was expecting a rough night sleep from the aches and pains, but the bed was sublime and we both ended up have the best sleep we’d had in about 10 years!

Nice, classy. Seemed a lot quieter than most Hiltons I stay in - not a complaint at all - just an observation. Maybe it’s the location but, this place is very relaxing - big and airy. Food was to die for, props to the chefs at this facility. We spent so much money on food 😂
