Beautiful hotel, restored from an old country house. Attention to detail and comfort are exceptional. The gardens and grounds are thoughtfully cared for, with wildflower meadows, ponds and wooded walks surrounding the hotel. A choice of comfortable outdoor seating, and a flourishing kitchen garden. The rooms are spacious and immaculate, and the staff are truly wonderful.
I must also give a special mention to the chef, the food is of an exceptional standard, locally sourced and delicious.
The hotel is also close to the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline, and the town of Tenby, so you won’t be short of days out.
It was hard to leave such a wonderful place.

Very friendly welcome. Lovely pub, have stayed here before but not for a long time and it looked as though everything had been newly decorated. The rooms are big with a sofa and the coffee machine and bottled water was very much appreciated. Breakfast was very good.
Nestled on mature grounds Castlemead is in a wooded valley overlooking Manorbier Bay, the Pembroke peninsula, and the ruins of Manorbier Castle. The beach is a 2-minute walk from the hotel.

Beautiful location overlooking local 12th century church on hill. Very quiet and peaceful with lovely quaint breakfast /restaurant room overlooking garden and sea through the trees. 5 minutes walk to Manorbier Castle and beach. Easily accessible with short boardwalk to beach. Small village with lovely local pub. A step back in time all round so great if you want a peaceful get away. Family run place with charm.... I will definitely return if I can.

Nice airy, calming room, nice colour scheme, very comfortable beds, extra towels and blankets provided, and quiet. The restaurant area was beautiful and a decent choice of breakfast. Good value for money overall, would stay again.

What a little gem absolutely beautiful. Cottage located in a quiet and very peaceful quintessential village. The Kitchen was nice and big and had everything we needed and more. Off-road Parking was great. Views of countryside from kitchen and garden was stunning. Unfortunately garden a little let down by poor maintenance with weeds etc in patio along with dead plants. Garden has so much more potential. Cottage needs a new mattress as could hear springs with every movement. There is two country roads next to the cottage however you dont notice any noise. Despite the mattress and garden maintenance would definitely return as this is a stunning property.
